Getting to know you Thursdays!

Thanks for dropping by to get to know the MBP team of bloggers a little better. This week, we're catching up with Sr. Contributor, Brittany Brownfield.

Good Eats- What's For Dinner Tonight?
Tacos.
I have to go to the store later, and all I have in the freezer is ground beef. We are trying to stick to a low carb diet per doctor's orders, but sometimes you just need some tacos!

Whatcha Reading?
I just finished reading The Fault in our Stars by John Green.
I stayed up all night reading it cover to cover, I just couldn't put it down!
I won't give anything away, but I will say that no matter how prepared you think you are for what is so obviously going to happen, John Green throws you a major curve ball. I balled my eyes out, and can't wait to be an emotional wreck in the theater when the movie comes out in June!

Listening to Anything Good?
The birds.
Right now, as I sit here and type this, the morning birds are singing away. I love to sit with my back door open and listen to them sing their cheery songs. I've also been listening to 90's alternative rock mix on Pandora.

Whatcha Been Watching?
Cougar Town, Modern Family, The Middle, Criminal Minds, HIMYM, and TBBT.

I Dreamed a Dream of...
My nose!
I recently had a septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and had my sinuses drained. I continue to dream that my nose is falling off and I have to go back and have it reattached. In the end, I look like Michael Jackson. I usually wake up a little freaked out, and have to go look in the mirror to make sure it's all still there!

What I'm Lovin' this Week...
The beautiful weather!
The threat of severe storms has held off all week. What could have been a terrible week of storms, turned into beautiful, warm, get out in your yard, weather.

I am so Done With...
Taxes!!!!
What a roller coaster ride that was. It didn't turn out to be as bad as I thought, but boy am I glad it's done and over with.

Silliest Thing this Week...
My dog, Buddy getting his head stuck in my dress.
Wile chatting on the phone with Ondria yesterday, I noticed that Buddy had somehow managed to get his head caught in the arm of one of my dresses. I quickly helped him get unstuck, and he scurried away leaving behind the traumatic event.

What I'm Looking Forward to...
Sunday with the Hubby.
Cory works 10hr days 6-7 days a week. It's rare that he gets a day off. I'm excited that he actually has Sunday off and we can spend it together.

Thanks for catching up with me this week!

I'd love to hear how you've been doing this week, too! Leave your answer to one of the questions listed above in a comment, if you feel like it!

Have a great Thursday!

  1. I Always love reading when someone else is a "Cougar Town"fan! I hope it gets renewed another season-I can't live without my Cul-De-Sac crew! I already lost "Smash"! Season Two of CT was my fave. The best line this season was from Chick to Trav-"Son, I am your grandfather. My back is genetically engineered to handle whatever burden you can't carry". So Sweet!
