Wordless Wednesdays: Snow Day!

We got a little round of snow last week in the Carolinas (finally!) and we really enjoyed it- esp. B! We only received 1-2 inches of snow, but it was enough to shut schools down for two days, and delay it for three hours the third snow day, as well. Yeah, that's how we do it down here.
Here are a few photos from our snow day...

B and daddy, getting all suited up to go out and play...

Out on the front porch, recovering an ice ball we made inside of a balloon.

Shaking snow off of branches...

A better look at the ice ball...

Mommy and B, ready to go out for round 2 of snow play!

The idea here was to make a snow angel, but you know...

Readjusting gloves... we're not used to it being in the teens outside, in the middle of the afternoon!

Mommy and little boy cuddles...

Stinker face... time to go in for some hot cocoa!

We had a great time playing in the snow, even though we barely got enough of it to cover the grass. Maybe we'll get more next time?

When was your last snow day?

  2. Looks like the whole family had a great time! It has to be below -10 degrees with 4 foot of snow around here for them to cancel school (northwest PA)! Glad you all enjoyed it!
