Thanks for dropping by to get to know the MBP team of bloggers a little better. This week, we're catching up with MBP Founder, and Sr. Contributor, Ondria Witt.
Good Eats- What's For Dinner Tonight?
We're having roasted pork with steamed broccoli and cooked apples.
Whatcha Reading?
Still working on Divergent. I also just finished The Boelyn Inheritance, and it was great! Onto the Cousins War Series by Phillipa Gregory... I love her books!
Listening to Anything Good?
My husband has been playing 'Blue Monday' over and over again, followed by 'The Proof of Your Love.' Interesting combination.
Whatcha Been Watching?
Hubby and I were both home last night, and B fell asleep at a decent time, so we watched Suburgatory, Modern Fam and Super Fun Night. He hardly ever gets to see these shows, so it was fun for us to relax, watch and laugh together.
I Dreamed a Dream of...
I have been dreaming of blue waters and white sands. It's probably because B keeps asking me if we can go back to the big red beach house from last summer at Ocen Isle Beach, NC. That was a great house- but then again, so was the one we stayed in a few months before that- at Topsail Island, NC.
What I'm Lovin' this Week...
We're snowed in! For real- NC got pounded by snow yesterday and there will be a continuation of snow/sleet through the day today. Schools are closed, and we're ready to play in the snow. B is already asking me if we can go outside and build an igloo.
I am so Done With...
I'd say winter, becaiuse I really have been longing for spring. This time last year, all of my irises were blooming! I am enjoying the snow, though, and will look forward to making some memories with my little family today. Spring will come... it always does.
Silliest Thing this Week...
B, who just came over and said, 'Mommy, I want something fragile and good- like ice.'
What I'm Looking Forward to...
We will be breaking ground on our new building at church ithis Sunday, and I am thrilled! This has been many years in the making, and it's wonderful to see that it's finally happening. This will mean so much for our church, and for the community, as well. Praise be to God for His goodness!
Thanks for catching up with me this week!
I'd love to hear how you've been doing this week, too! Leave your answer to one of the questions listed above in a comment, if you feel like it!
Have a great Thursday!
Been watching ice skating, skiing and The Bachelor! Cool questions!
ReplyDeleteYummm dinner sounds delish
ReplyDeleteI imagine it will be! Hubby is cooking and I am getting hungry after playing out in the snow all day!
DeleteI love this sort of post :) It's always nice to learn a little bit more about the bloggers we read!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca! Hope you've had a great day!
DeleteI love Modern Family and Suburgatory! How is Divergent? I've been thinking about getting that one.
ReplyDeleteIt's good, and interesting but I'm reading it very slowly. I keep wanting it to be The Hunger Games, but it's not! :)
DeleteLove this post. I was inspired to create a list of my own.
ReplyDeleteGood list! I've read Divergent a couple times, and really enjoy it myself. The ending the the series while being difficult to read, I feel, is right.
ReplyDeleteStopping over from SITS Girls. Meant to comment Wednesday, but accidentally commented in the wrong group.
Haven't gotten there- now I'm curious! :)
DeleteOh how I miss NC!! I used to live in Sneads Ferry, still have a lot of family there.. we're totally snowed in here in VA too, at least 15 inches!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm looking forward to anything but snow! haha
