What's for Dinner Every Night this Week?

Happy Monday, friends! Here at MBP, we love to share our tips and tricks, and sometimes that includes meal planning! I'm a big fan of creating a weekly meal plan before you do your weekly grocery shopping. It helps you stay on budget and cuts down on the going out to eat or making a million trips to the store because you don't have what you need. Hopefully, our plan for meals this week will give you a bit of inspiration!

Here's what we're having this week...

  1. Your menu sounds really yummy. I wish I was organized enough to plan out the menu for a whole week!

    1. I used to do it for 4 weeks! Can you believe it? I sometimes do 2 weeks at a time, so I have to go shopping less often. Helps keep me sane. Okay- off to make dinner for the fam! :)

  2. That does sound good! Any tips for staying on menu? It seems like half the time I try weekly meal planning, something comes up one night, then I forget to defrost another night, and the whole thing falls apart!

    1. That happens to us sometimes, too. I try to take stuff down the nigt before we're doing to have it... and of course, we make allowances and switch stuff around some nights. My key is making sure that I have an easy go-to meal that'll be quick if we're running short on time, and hey- we go out every now and then, too. We just set a goal to save money, and for us, that means cutting back on how often we go out to eat. So keeping a white board on my fridge, so I can see the menu every time I open it helps to keep me motivated and on track for the week. :)
