Tasty Tuesdays: Five Game Day Dip Recipes

Whether you're hosting the ultimate get together with friends, just hanging out with family at home, or you're headed to a friend's house to watch a football game this season, dips are a must! Not man people dislike a good dip, so I am hooking you up with five simple recipes that you can make for the family, or take with you when you visit friends!

Celebrating Home Game Day Bean Pot

These dip recipes have been made in the Celebrating Home Bean Pot, but you could easily make these in a baker or an 8x8 dish, if you don't have one. If you do want to check out the Bean Pots, they're awesome to have! There is even a football shaped Bean Pot for game day!


Chili Con Queso

1 lb. Velveeta Cheese, melted
1 (15 oz.) can Chili with Beans
1 (4 oz.) can Green Chile's, chopped
1 medium Onion, finely chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients and bake in BEAN POT for 35 minutes.
Serve with chips


Artichoke Dip

1 can chopped artichoke hearts
1 cup Mayo
1 cup Parmesan Cheese

Chop artichoke hearts in food processor.
Add artichokes, mayo, and Parmesan to Bean Pot.
Mix well and place in oven.
Cook with lid on @ 350 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove from oven, remove lid and serve with tortilla chips!

Gringo Dip

Ingredients:
16 ounces Philadelphia Cream cheese
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
2 cans diced tomatoes
1/4 cup jalapeno, fresh or pickled, diced
8 ounces frozen chopped spinach
4 chicken bouillon cubes
8 ounces Velveeta cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 onion, diced fine

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in the Bean Pot.
Microwave for 3 minutes. Stir.
Microwave for an additional 2 minutes and stir.
Repeat as necessary until the dip is completely melted and hot.
Serve with tortilla chips or raw veggies.


Roasted Red Pepper Dip

1-7 oz. jar roasted red peppers, drained & sliced
3/4 lb. shredded Monterey Jack Cheese (pepper jack will add some "kick.")
1-8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 T minced onion
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 T prepared Dijon-style mustard

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together the roasted red peppers, Monterey Jack Cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, onion, garlic and mustard.
Bake in a bean pot uncovered for 20 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
Serve warn with various colored tortilla chips.

 Buffalo Chicken Dip

2 large cans chicken breast all white meat
1 bottle of ranch dressing
2 pk of cream cheese
1 cup Franks Red Hot
1 8oz bag of shredded cheddar cheese

Soften cream cheese and mix together with ranch dressing until smooth.
Add the hot sauce mix well. Drain the cans of chicken and break up with fork in can.
Stir in the chicken and the cheddar cheese. Add mix to bean pot.

Bake uncovered at 350 for about 45 mins to an hour.
Remove from oven place in bean pot basket and take to your party or picnic! Serve with tortilla chips. The advantage of the bean pot is your dip stays nice and warm!

  4. All these dips are great! Chips, veggies, sometimes even apple wedges make dips good. (I could also eat them plain with a spoon!)

  10. Dips of any kind are just wonderful-- they make a meal a party-- We never go wrong when there is a least one dip on Family movie night -- thanks for sharing so many good ones that I will try

  12. These dips look delicious. My kids and their Family would love the Buffalo Chicken dip!! They all love hot~~ Me and the hubby not really maybe just a little! So I would probably make 2 of the Buffalo chicken dips one Hot and one not so hot!! Thankyou for sharing!
