Stay Happy, Healthy and Hydrated with WaterWeek Kids by #Reduce (Review & Giveaway)

MBP's Back to School Blast

When I was a child, I remember opening my lunchbox to find all sorts of things. One of my favorite lunches was an egg salad sandwich (yes- I was that kid), with a baggie of green grapes. I also loved getting special things like fruit salad, or even special leftovers from a nice meal at home. Every once in a while, I got a cookie or brownie, and for a drink, I almost always had a juice pouch. I don't remember drinking a lot of juice or soda as a child, but I know that I had more of it than I allow my own son to have now. Getting a bottle of water in your lunch box was pretty much unheard of, but times have changed, and now, parents everywhere are really tapping into resources to get their children to drink more water.

In the spirit of kids everywhere headed back to school, we're proud to partner with Reduce. Founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006, Reduce makes eco-friendly, innovative products that are helping people turn a green leaf. Their attractive designs are perfect for children and adults, and aim to solve everyday problems with an added intention of helping or being good to our environment. Reduce knows that it's not easy for folks to be 100% green, 100% of the time, so their products are made to fit right in with our busy lives, making green living work for us.

WaterWeek Kids - Kaleidoscope
WaterWeek Kids Kaleidescope Set

We were very excited to have the opportunity to review a WaterWeek Kids Kaleidescope Set by Reduce. The idea behind this product tis that you have one kid-friendly reusable water bottle (in fun colors) for every day of the school week. They're easy for kiddos to grab, to have in their lunch box, etc.

Our WaterWeek Kids set, all colorful and ready to go, go, go!

When we received our WaterWeek Kids set, Balian was very excited. He saw the vivid, summery colors and went straight for our wrapped package. This set came packages as one set, wrapped in plastic. Once I removed the wrapping and gave each water bottle a quick wash, I was ready to get them set up for use. The WaterWeek Kids set come with five BPA Free reusable water bottles with caps that easily screw on.

Loving these kid friendly colors and designs...

Once the water bottles were cleaned and ready to go, I filled each one with cool, crisp filtered water, and set them in their slots on the tray. I think the tray is a really cool idea. It has a slot for each water bottle to sit in, and it really helps to keep the bottles organized. It also takes up very little space in the refrigerator, which is wonderful, because we never seem to have enough room in there for anything!

Sleek storage that is a true space saver in the 'fridge!

When the water is ready to go into the refrigerator, just put the water bottles back onto the tray, and slide the tray into the fridge. It truly is that that easy to make fresh, clean, cold water accessible to your kids. I keep the tray on a lower shelf that B can reach, so if he's thirsty, he knows that he can go to the refrigerator and get a water bottle, himself. He loves the colors, and he goes for the water bottles over a juice box almost every time he opens the fridge now!

My toddler can easily grab his own water...

I'm not packing school lunches yet, but we are always on the go, so it's wonderful to have these handy reusable water bottles pre-filled so I can grab one, throw it into B's little backpack, or my mommy bag and head out the door. I don't like being caught without water if we're out for the day, so this is a wonderful solution for our family!

The water bottles are a hard plastic, so you'll never have to worry about punctures or leaks in a lunch box or bag. They're also dishwasher safe, so once one has been used, give it a quick run through the dishwasher, and fill it up all over again. This system is a must have for moms who pack lunches, gym bags, etc. If you're in charge of bringing water to soccer game, football game, practices, etc- get a few sets of these! They're easy to transport, and in the long run, you'll save a ton of money since you won't be buying bottled water or sports drinks!

WaterWeek has a lot of fun designs, and accessories, too...
