Red Lobster's Amazing Four Course Feast #Review #RedLobster

Last weekend, I was given the opportunity to experience an incredible feast... at Red Lobster, of all places. It's important to note, that I am not really a seafood lover. I will try just about anything, and have tried lots of different seafood on several occasions, and it just hasn't been something that my tastebuds have approved of. There are plenty of folks in my family who do like seafood, though- including my husband, so we headed to the nearest Red Lobster restaurant for the very first time, to check out all that they had to offer. You can also look at this website for more delicious lobster dishes.

Red Lobster is well known for their fresh seafood and their live lobsters. When we walked into the restaurant, we were suprised that there was no wait. We were seated almost immediately. The restaurant was huge, and very nicely decorated- much more upscale than I thought it would be. We walked right by the live lobster tank as we were shown to our table. We then sat down with our menus and began to look over the multitude of delectable offerings available.

Red Lobster Menu with the Four Course Feast selection on the far side...

I knew that I wanted to order the Four Course Feast, because it seemed like an incredible deal. The feast included unlimited Cheddar Garlic Biscuits, Salad, Soup, a Main Entree and Dessert! I looked over the menu, and selected the Chicken in Portabello Wine Sauce, and crossed my fingers that my chicken dish from a seafood restaurant would be good.

Our waitress was unbelievable personable, and witty. She helped us make our decisions and was truly attentive. Lisa at the Concord Red Lobster, you helped make our dining experience fabulous- thank you!

Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

We were brought our beverages, and a basket of the famous Red Lobster Cheddar Garlic Biscuits, which everyone else in our family is always raving about. They really were as delicious as everyone said they were... buttery, flaky and melt in your mouth good! I think my husband devoured an entire basket of these by himself!

Fresh Salad and hot soup!

I selected the Fresh Garden Salad with ranch dressing, and also ordered the Creamy Potato Bacon Soup. I enjoyed the salad, and had a bite of the soup, which was so creamy and delicious! I let my hubby have the rest of the soup, because he loves potato soup. He was sold on it after one bite!

Chicken in Portabello Wine Sauce with Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes...

When my huge platter with my entree on it arrived, I couldn't wait to taste it all! My two thin chicken breasts were smothered in sauce with large mushrooms, and served over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, with steamed broccoli on the side. I first tasted the sauce, which was incredible, and unlike any sauce I'd had over chicken in a very long time. I loved the hints of the wine, and the mushrooms just made it all the more wonderful! The chicken was tender and delicious, the potatoes creamy, and the broccoli steamed to perfection! I only made it through one of the pieces of chicken before my tummy was totally full.

Fried Clams

My husband was completely thrilled that he was able to combine a pick three appetizer into one large platter of fried clams as his entree. He ordered a side of steamed broccoli, and was as happy as a... well, clam! Sacha loved fried clams, and you can't get them just anywhere, so he was very excited to see them as an option on the Red Lobster menu. He said they were the best he'd had in a long time, and I took his word for it. About half of the platter came back home with us.

Caramel Cheesecake

For our dessert, we ordered the caramel cheesecake. We actually asked for it to be packaged up, so we could enjoy it at home. We were way too stuffed from our dinner to possibly eat another bite at the restaurant. We both love cheesecake, and we enjoyed the dreamy, creamy cheesecake at home, the following day.

We had a fantastic experience at Red Lobster. The Four Course Feast was so much food, for an incredible price. Our service was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and surprisingly non-seafood smelling. I would gladly eat at Red Lobster again on date night, or on an outing with the entire family. I'd love to take my mom to Red Lobster for girls day out... she loves seafood!
