Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved to send cards in the mail to people I care about. To me, there's just nothing like a handwritten note to brighten someone's day or lift their spirits. My dad just wrapped up an unexpected stay in the hospital, due to some complications with bleeding ulcers we didn't realize he had. He received so many cards from folks who care about him, and when I went to visit him the other day, he proudly showed them off. I could tell that he felt very loved by those people who took a few minutes out of their day to send a little note.
This year, Hallmark is teaming up with bloggers for their spectacular Get Carded Challenge! The goal is for each blogger to send out one card a day for seven days straight, and to connect with their loved ones! To help get me started, Hallmark provided me with a fantastic assortment of cards ranging in themes from celebrations to fun at summer camp, and postage, too!
The challenge has begun! Who shall I send my cards to?
The first card on top of the stack of Hallmark greeting cards was a birthday card, which I knew would be great to have on hand, because we have a ton of family birthdays during the month of July and August! Now the fun part is deciding which family member to give it to!
Our family has a whole lot to CELEBRATE!
My greeting card assortment from Hallmark is wonderful! I have always loved and preferred Hallmark cards, because they are beautiful, fun, clever and always leave a smile on the recipient's face! I have some wonderful options here, and am currently planning out my strategy for completing my challenge, which I am starting today! For seven days, I'll be sharing my personal card picks and stories with you, and encouraging you to take the challenge, as well!
Lovely assortment of bright, cheery cards from Hallmark...
Take the Challenge! There are lots of cards yet to be sent to reach the challenge goal, and we invite you to be a part of it! Bloggers can also sign up to participate in the Get Carded Challenge! Be sure to check back this week, as I share my personal stories of who I sent my cards to!
