Little Passports May Review

Summer vacation is finally here and with a new baby just weeks away, we aren't traveling very far from home. Luckily we participate in a partnership that allows us to pretend and experience trips all around the world with just a package that arrives in the mail. Beckett and Scarlett both look forward to traveling with their friends and learning about new and exciting places, especially when they won't be there any time soon.

By now you may have learned about Little Passports from our monthly reviews. If you don't know about Little Passports, then you are missing out! Little Passports offers opportunities and experiences by mailing monthly travel packages (World or US Editions) right to your mailbox. These packages are filled with exciting items to encourage their explorations. It is super easy to sign up (they have different plans for whatever your needs might be), each month your child will receive a package filled with amazing goodies from a new country or state, explore and have fun with your child. Check out some great clips and reviews of Little Passports here.

During your first month with Little Passports, you will receive an introduction to Sam and Sofia, a suitcase filled with a world wall map, a travel passport, stickers, an activity sheet, and access to online games and activities with a boarding pass (Our introduction to Sam and Sofia during month one was very informative, check it out here). Sam and Sofia are the two traveling characters within Little Passports and each month they travel to a new destination and send us fun things from their discoveries. We love finding where Sam and Sofia have been and what they have found. You can read our month two, three, four, and five as well to see where we have been.

Yay! Our Little Passports package is here!

G'Day from Australia!
Wonder what adventures Sam and Sofia have in store for us this month?
Checking out all our Australian goodies in our package, Scarlett has to get in on it too.

Our letter and photo from Sam and Sofia. Beckett was thrilled to hear about boomerangs and laughed when he found out that not all boomerangs will come back to you-who knew? They met a new friend, Lachlan, which is interesting to me because one of my grandmother's very good friends was named Lachlan, it brought back many memories for me of her stories. We also enjoyed saying the word "Aborigines". The photo made us long for the beach and we were jealous of the beautiful blue waters.
Next up was our activity sheet, the word search was perfect for B, he is really into them right now. We also liked the Aussie slang, it was so cool to see what words they used for words that we know.  We learned a bit of information about Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas, and Wombats.
We also got our boarding pass, the secret pass gets us in to a special game zone. Our favorite game involved taking pictures in the Great Barrier Reef.  We also had our luggage sticker, passport sticker, and map sticker.

Working on locating Australia on the big world map, he quickly knew what location to look in
Found it!

Filling out our passport, it is getting pretty full these days.
Adding on another luggage sticker, how colorful and he loves how each sticker has a picture to remind him of what places we have visited.
There is always one extra cool factor inside our package, this month is a really neat Scratch Kit. Sam and Sofia had told us about it in the letter and we couldn't wait to try it out.

It had quite a few predrawn scratch cards and some blank ones too. It also included one scratching tool. We of course had to get straight to work on them.
These are amazing cards and B was super impressed with how cool they looked.

Scarlett got some work done too.

May took us to a beautiful Australian trip and we couldn't have been happier to travel with Sam and Sofia again this month. Cheerio or Hooroo until next month!
