Part of MBP's Summer Splash & Get Out and Play Week
With summer in full swing, we are always on the hunt for outdoor products to stimulate and entertain our son. Last year, he discovered bubbles, while playing with his cousins (Steph's kiddos) S & B, while we were at the beach. He must have decided right then and there that he loved bubbles, and I was glad for it, because bubbles are great fun for all ages.
We recently connected with Little Kids, Inc. and were offered the chance to try out their new Fubbles™ No-Spill® Bubble Guitar. Little Kids, Inc. has been bringing joy to parents and kiddos for many years with their fun children's toys. Fubbles offers no-spill bubble toys that are a lot of fun for kids, and that parents love, because they don't leak or spill out.
I was excited to receive the Bubble Guitar for Balian. He loves music, and has really taken to the guitar, especially since our family friend Derek is a guitarist.
The Fubbles No-Spill Bubble Guitar
The Fubbles No-Spill Bubble Guitar came to us nicely packaged, and as soon as Balian saw it, he was ready to get outside and play with it! We removed it from the packaging (it had some plastic ties that needed to be removed and discarded), and laid it out, so we could get a good look at it, and explore all of the different things it could do.

The bubble guitar is really neat. It takes a few AA batteries, but once those are in place, all you have to do is pour the bubbles into the proper place in the guitar, turn it on, and watch it go! The bubble guitar has an on/off setting, and it's best to remember to turn it off, so you won't run the batteries down! The guitar is made from a sturdy plastic (it's been dropped a few times already and has faired incredibly well!), features four plastic strings, and four frets with buttons. The top button starts and stops the bubbles. The other three colored buttons start and stop the music. Each button plays a different tune.

'Look mommy, I'm doing bubbles!'
We spent most of that first day with the Bubble Guitar outside. It was a beautiful day, and it happened to be our neighborhood's spring clean-up day, so I was busy doing some cleaning up and throwing away (hence the boxes). The Bubble Guitar entertained Balian while I worked. He loved 'playing' the guitar, but really loves the bubbles that just keep coming out. He doesn't have to do anything to make the bubbles come out to play. He can simply turn the bubbles on, put the guitar down, press the music button, and dance among the bubbles, which has been his favorite way to play with the bubble guitar thus far.
'So many bubbles!'
The Fubbles No-Spill Bubble Guitar doesn't disappoint. It really provides little ones with continuous bubble play, which I really appreciate. Sometimes, Balian becomes frustrated when we try to blow bubbles the old fashioned way, so this gives him lots of bubbles to enjoy, without having to do a whole lot to make them appear.
Go ahead and lay it down- it won't spill out!
I don't have to worry about leaks or spills with the Fubbles No-Spill Bubble Guitar. When Balian placed it on my new outdoor cushions, and then my new teak coffee table, I didn't freak out on him. I knew that the bubbles were going to stay inside of the guitar, until someone pressed the button to turn the bubbles back on.
I love that Balian can play with this on his own, and that I don't have to worry about a big spilled bubble mess!
Balian loves the Fubbles Bubble Guitar so much, that we have already gone through three sets of batteries, and we even toted this along with us on our beach vacation a few weeks ago. Balian had a blast playing with the guitar out on the beach, and out on the sun deck at the beach house!
