365 Acts of Kindness Weekly Roundup: Week 22

We're continuing our 365 Acts of Kindness today, encouraging everyone to do one nice thing for someone else every day, for the next year. It doesn't have to be random- you can certainly be kind to someone you know, or a complete stranger. The idea is to pass love around- help someone else out, and inspire them to do the same. Sometimes, we have to change to be the change we want to see in this world.

Every Monday, we're posting a weekly roundup of Acts of Kindness, where you can share how you've helped others, or how others have blessed you by their acts.

My Act of Kindness from Last Week:

I sometimes find myself stock-piling freebies and samples that I receive as promotional items from some of the companies I work with through MBP. I noticed that I had an abundance of baby sunscreen samples, dried mix-ins for baby and toddler food, and even some little device holders. A group of women I'm a part of at my church (Wild Women) makes gift baskets for the parents of new babies born in our congregation, and I got a note from the lady who organizes it all, that the donated supplies were really getting low. So, I donated the items that were unopened so they could be used for the basket. I made me feel great, and I can't wait to donate more!

Featured Comment from Last Week's Roundup:

Last week I entered a giveaway were a mixed batch of prizes and I won--my prize happened to be a few jars of baby food well we don't have a need for it so I took it to a family at church who just had a baby--They were so appreciative...both parents sent me a TY text during the week. The littlest action can make someones day. - Pamela R.

  2. When I couponed I had a huge stock pile, I would donate and share with family all the time. It is amazing how many products you can get for free or even a money maker. Giving them to new parents through your church is such a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Great that you were ale to help them. I am still in my planning stages, but I am creating a plastic card based on the pay it forward idea, except with my company style. I give gifts away already, free. so My plastic card will allow whomever it reaches to request a free gift for themselves and also have the option to send a free gift for up to 5 friends of theirs. I am still working it all out lol but it will be fun
