My New Year resolution was to be more organized, and so far I'm doing pretty well, I'm killing it at school but home is another story. It’s really hard to be organized when I'm living in a new house that has an unusable kitchen and up until two weeks ago had a torn up bathroom. Thankfully I have lots of containers to contain all my clutter.

My bathroom counter has always been a mess. No matter where I’ve lived, its just one place that always has stuff all over it. My mom is constantly yelling at me to put my stuff away! Yes I know I'm married, and have a house of my own but you know moms. I think every time she comes over she makes a comment about my bathroom counter. I'm just one of those people that thinks its pointless to put away the things I use every single day. I know having toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup bag, medicine, a hair dryer, a flatiron, hairspray, mousse, leave in conditioner, styling paste, heat protector, a teasing comb, and a brush takes up a lot of space but its super annoying to take all of them out of the cabinet every morning and then put them away just to take out the next day.

Thankfully, Thirty-One independent consultant Dottie Brown has helped save most of my countertop! Dottie sent me the ultra cute URU Cosmetic Bag Set and now I can keep my stuff out while keeping my countertop a lot less cluttered. Yay organization!

The large bag holds all my hair stuff with plenty of room for more, and the small bag holds all my makeup with room to spare.

I can fit my flat iron in there too but it was hot when I took this picture.

I've got like 4 eye shadows in there, 3 eyeliner pencils, a liquid eyeliner, 2 mascaras, all my makeup brushes, perfume, lip gloss, and room to grow.

Its super nice to be able to keep all my stuff on my counter but still have it neat and organized so it doesn’t look like Walgreens exploded in my bathroom. I'm really happy with my new makeup bag too because my old Thirty-One makeup bag was about to start splitting at the seams. I don't know how you knew I needed exactly what you sent me but thanks Dottie! You're the best!
