Time for a little mommy confession... I have a huge addiction to handbags. It's almost as bas as my addiction to coffee. About ten or so years ago, my addiction really began, and it was bad! I was buying new handbags at every turn, and blowing my paychecks on name brands that were more of a status symbol than anything else. After my husband and I got married, I quit my job, and moved to a different state with him, so he could pursue graduate school. Suddenly, this fashionista with without a job, and my fashion habit got a huge wake-up call! Flash forward to today, I'm still a wife, and a mom of 2 & 1/2 years... and I still love handbags!

Not long ago, I ran across Sorial, Handbags and Accessories, a company that came about back in 2006, when husband and wife team Alex and Vivianne Sorial Bannout decided to expand their business. Their truly unique accessories feature the finest leathers, design and craftsmanship possible, to ensure that each piece is a quality work of art, and stylish, functional product. Here's my beautiful new Sorial Lexi Hobo

I was sent a gorgeous Sorial Lexi Hobo, one of the new 2013 spring styles. This beautiful orange leather bag features a snakeskin print, which is super trendy and unlike any other that I've seen in a retail store. Of course, it's only fitting that it be a leather snakeskin bag, as the Sorial logo bears a beautifully designed golden snake.

In my opinion, Sorial really goes above and beyond by making their accessories statement pieces with the gorgeous hardware they embellish their bags with. I really dislike cheap-looking exposed zippers, and usually try to avoid handbags that have a zip closure. My Lexi Hobo from Sorial has two exposed zippers- one as a top closure, and one as a back pocket closure. These silver zippers are beautifully integrated into the bag, and they each hold a long leather tassel, which draws the eye away from the actual zipper. Smart thinkin', Sorial! The leather shoulder strap is adjustable, and features silver buckles and hardware.

One of the best features of the Lexi Hobo, is its size! I am not a small handbag kinda gal. I love bg bags that are comfortable to wear/carry, and have plenty of room to tote along all of my essentials, plus my husband and son's 'will you hold these for me?' items. Take a look at how big the bag is in relation to me- it's not super huge, but it's a large bag with lots of room for everything I need to take with me when I'm on the go.

Something else that I love about my new Sorial bag, is that it is so lightweight! I have a lot of leather handbags that are large, small, heavy and downright clunky. They're pretty, but they're also pretty impractical, because they're such a pain to tote around. I have a few lightweight handbags that I dump everything into for outings like shopping trips, because I need to be able to move around freely, manage a stroller, wrangle my toddler, etc... but those bags aren't super stylish. With my Lexi Hobo, I don't have to sacrifice good taste, style or comfort!

I can't tell you how many compliments I have received on my Sorial bag. Everyone wants to know where it came from, and where they can get one! I don't blame them- it's a gorgeous bag, unlike your run of the mill selections at the mall or discount store! I don't care for cheap handbags, and don't do knockoffs. My sister always says, 'If you can't afford the real deal, you're not meant to have it.' Sorial makes it possible for fashionistas and handbag lovin' mommas to have the real deal, at a fraction of the prices of some of their competitors. They've managed to offer their bags and accessories at an affordable pricepoint that's been missing from the market. Trust me, you won't have to sell your grandmother's antique jewelry to get one of these, nor will you have to settle for a bag you bought from an outlet store that was from three seasons ago!
