It's You Babe LLC Review and Giveaway

Part of the MBP Pregnancy & Newborn Reviews
**Since we at MBP like to bring an assortment of things to our readers, it makes sense that we offer a range of pregnancy items right now. We searched around for some of the best maternity companies we could find and we have been blessed with some amazing products.**

I was a pretty lucky lady with my first two pregnancies, no sickness, not much pain, and fairly easy labors. Apparently Baby #3, which we have nicknamed Thumper, is just announcing his or her third child status and giving me a run for my money. I was terribly sick for the first 16-18 weeks or so, have had bad pain in my back and hips, and have just overall felt blah.

I am 24 weeks now and almost into my third trimester--EEK! I am feeling so much better and while I still have some pain, it is few and far between. The pain has been reduced much in part to two things, warm baths (my doctor's suggestion) and a product that was shared with me from a great maternity related company.

It's You Babe

It's You Babe was founded in 2011 by a husband and wife team, Darrell and Chris Seering. Chris is a registered nurse and nurse practitioner while Darrell is a retired state trooper who now helps grow the It's You Babe brand. It's You Babe is based in Michigan and provides safe and effective support products for expectant moms.  Read their hilarious and informative "About Us" section here, you will not regret it.

After contacting It's You Babe, I was in touch with Michelle. Michelle was extremely thorough in getting all the important information from me to find the best product and size I would need. She was easy to get ahold of, responding back quickly and always prepared with the information I would need as well. Michelle suggested what It's You Babe product she felt would be best and shipped it off to me, I was very excited to try it out and share my experience with our readers.

My It's You Babe package has arrived!
Inside the box I found tons of great stuff from It's You Babe.
Michelle had included: a handwritten note (always appreciate companies who do this), shipping information, and 4 sheets of helpful tips, information, and photos.

Michelle also sent me the It's You Babe Best Cradle
I don't work outside the home but having a 6 and 3 year old keep me very busy. I am on the go a lot and lower back pains, which sometimes stretched to my hips, were keeping me tired and grumpy. Pregnancy number 3 was stretching my body even more and it was not agreeing with me, and being on my feet was not helping. After talking with Michelle, I also spoke with my OB, who ended up telling me to take warm baths and possibly look into a support, little did she know I was already working with It's You Babe.

Michelle and I felt the Best Cradle was the best option for me to review and share with our readers. The Best Cradle is an adjustable support that is ideal for all pregnancies. It promotes circulation (which is a huge plus for me since I am taking blood thinners to prevent clots), reduces swelling (luckily I haven't had any issues so far), comforts hip and pelvic bones (this will be wonderful in the final weeks of pregnancy), and provides support for back and abdomen (my major issues thus far). The Best Cradle retails for $69 and is available online through It's You Babe.

As soon as the Best Cradle arrived, I put it to use. It is made of polyester, spandex, and nylon giving it a very nice feel that easily stretches and moves with my body. It is also white, which makes wearing under lighter colors easy to do. It sits on both shoulders without digging in and secures around the belly, with 3 clasps, without shifting.  I am finally getting through my day without pain and have more energy to run everyone around.

Each of the It's You Babe products has it's own sizing chart, this is extremely helpful to make sure you order the right size for yourself, each product may have you falling into a different size, so make sure to use them. Michelle informed me that while I fell into the Medium Best Cradle size, I may need a Large before the pregnancy was over. She let me know that if the medium felt too small, she would replace it with a large. So far the medium is still doing the job!

  6. The worst part of my pregnancy was probably the nausea. That was tough to be nauseous and taking care of two small kids at the same time!

  8. The Best Cradle is literally the best maternity support cradle on the market. I've read the reviews from so many women --- all of whom were completely delighted with their Best Cradle.

My hat is off to the folks at It's You Babe for producing what IMO is the world's premiere maternity support.

  12. So far this pregnancy (at 17 weeks) has been fairly easy when compared to my last, some morning sickness and the back pain has started too, but not too horrible. Now with my son- I had UTIs, passed out and was on bedrest off and on for nearly the entire second half of the pregnancy...hoping things continue to be better this time:)
