Soothe Aches and Pains with Thermal-Aid (Review & Giveaway)

Before I became a mom, I truly relied on my heating pad at least once a month. We ladies sort of depend on heat to relieve menstrual cramps, and most folks I know depend on heat and ice alternation to soothe sore muscles, aches and pains. I've even seen people using heating pads and ice packs when they've got the flu! Having both good heating pads and ice packs are very important to me, because accidents do happen, and I'd rather be prepared to treat symptoms than not.

Thermal-Aid | Natural Microwave Heating Packs, Pads & Freezer Cooling Packs

When I came across Thermal-Aid a few weeks ago, I knew I had found an awesome problem-solver, and must-have product for families. Thermal-Aid offers all natural heating and cooling pads that are 2-in-1! These heating/cooling pads are 100% natural and are scientifically proven to reduce fever and swelling!

We were lucky enough to receive a Thermal-Aid product for the adults in our house, and for Balian, our two-year-old, as well! We were sent the Thermal-Aid Small Sectional Heating and Cooling Pack, as well as a Honey Bear.

Thermal-Aid Small Sectional Pack

The Small Sectional Pack from Thermal-Aid couldn't have arrived at a better time. I had just broken my toes a couple of weeks prior to receiving this, and though I didn't need to ice my toes anymore, I was experiencing a lot of pain around my ankle, due to not being able to put normal pressure on my foot. I was able to just pop the Thermal-Aid pack into the freezer for a while, and then, because this pack has three sections, I was able to almost wrap it around my ankle.

I also let my dad borrow the Thermal-Aid Small Sectional, a week later, because he hurt his back, and needed to keep heat and ice going. He said that it helped relieve the pain so much more than any other heating or cooling pack he has ever used in the past. He loved how easy it was to heat- by placing it flat in the microwave, and then when the heat wore off, he just stuck it in the freezer to get it cool.

Features of the Thermal-Aid Small Sectional

The Small Sectional size is a great choice to relieve pain and reduce swelling all over the body. The sectional pack is designed to wrap around parts of the body for more coverage. Small sectional is a good choice for arms, legs, ankles, feet and much more.

The Small Sectional is made from all natural ingredients and is the only green heating and cooling pack that you can clean with soap and water and it won’t form mold or fungi.

Thermal-Aid Honey Bear

We also received the adorable, and very useful Honey Bear from Thermal-Aid. This cuddly bear is a heating and cooling pack for kids, in disguise! It works just like the adult packs- place it in the microwave for a few seconds to heat up, or in the freezer for up to five hours to cool.

Balian was thrilled when he met his new Thermal-Aid Honey Bear, which we've nicknamed the boo boo bear. We put this pack to the test right before the holidays, when Balian was pretty sick. I was able to cool the bear a little bit, and then give him to B to snuggle on the couch with. Just by cuddling with the bear, his mid-grade fever was reduced, without giving him any medication.
