I know I've said this before, and I will say it again, I am a messy person. I utterly hate to clean. I would rather go to the dentist and have my teethed pulled, than clean my house. That being said, I hate when my house is a mess. We recently bought our house, and by recently, I mean almost two years ago, and we still have tubs of stuff in our spare bedroom. I would love to find a place for everything and blow those dangs tubs to pieces. I walk into a room, look at everything, shake my head and walk away. I have to start small and organize what I use everyday, then work my way to the bigger stuff.

One thing that is never clean or organized, is my makeup bag on my bathroom sink. I try so hard to find bags and storage solutions, only to be digging to the bottom of the bag, simply because there are not enough pockets for everything. Cory especially hates my makeup bag sitting on the sink. He is constantly knocking the bag off of the edge on the floor, breaking my expensive makeup. I've Even knocked off my foundation before, breaking the bottle and spent nearly an hour scrubbing it off the floor. Again, I hate to clean! If you've never heard of Clever Container, you are surely missing out. When I found out I was working with Lisa, I immediately went to her site and began searching through the insane amounts of truly clever containers. As I took it out of the package I was surprised at how well made and sturdy it is. The Stuff It folds completely flat, which makes it easy to throw in your bag when you are traveling. Once I opened it, I noticed that there was a zipper on the bottom and there is a hard piece that goes over the bottom to reinforce it. This things isn't going to drop your stuff out of the bottom, and your things are not going to poke holes through it either. So don't worry if you were planning on putting some scissors on the bottom, they have you covered! Oh, and there are pockets everywhere! No longer will my makeup be rolling around in the bottom of the "bag" now it all has a place.

I set the Stuff It on my counter and went to work organizing my makeup. I actually had fun throwing away the things I don't use and putting my makeup neatly in the Stuff It. Everything fit, even my hair things and makeup wipes had a place. I couldn't believe it, I even have extra room for whatever else I end up buying or reviewing! I love that now I can quickly find my makeup and everything has a specific place. I wish I the Stuff It before I went on the cruise. I was constantly apologizing to our steward for my makeup and extras being all over the bathroom, the Stuff It would have made my life so much easier!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. I am so messy... I try to organize, but I'm just a naturally messy person. I think the "stuff it" would be awesome under the bathroom counter for all the stuff you use daily, but don't want to set out on the top of the counter.
