Wee Believers (Review & Giveaway)

Are you finding it as hard to believe as I am that Christmas is mere weeks away? I have been searching and searching for the perfect holiday gift for my son. Of course, I could get hima  super hot holiday toy that every other kid in town will open up on Christmas morning, but this season, I'm looking for something a little bit more meaningful.

We're a Christian famiily, with a deep-rooted faith, and we're not afraid to talk about Jesus, and tell Balian bible stories, and answer his curious questions. Balian has a big heart, full of love, and is constantly asking to hear a story from his 'bible book' before bedtime, or insisting that we pray together as a family. It thrills me that he shows an interest in learning more about Jesus and what it means to grow up and live as a Christian.

I was recently introduced to Wee Believers, which aims to partner with parents, by giving them handy tools to help their children grow in faith and love. Wee Believers offers a variety of products ranging from plush toys to placemats and role playing accessories. Founders Steve and Joni know and understand the challenges that many parents face, while trying to just get through the day to day musts, and raise their children in a loving Christian home. With that in mind, they have created endless opportunities for parents and caregivers to introduce children to bible stories, characters, and more, at a gentle pace.

We were very blessed to receive our own Wee Believers product for review this holiday season. We selected the Joseph's Helper Tool Set + Apron for Balian, and were very excited to see how he would react to it. My husband, Sacha, is a master with tools, building, and fixing things, so naturally, Balian has already expressed an interest in tools and woodworking!

Balian knew the 'mail man' was bringing him something very special...

'I gotta play with this, mommy!'

The Joseph the Carpenter's Helper set from Wee Believers

I think I was almost as excited as Balian was to open up this special box, and take a look inside. The Joseph the Carpenter's Helper set includes a work apron, which features pockets for each of the six tools included in the set. Each pocket displays the picture of each tool on it, so they are easy to recognize, find and return. The apron is truly adorable, and features a blue set of straps to tie around the neck, and another to tie around the waist- and this allows you to get the correct fit for your child.

Balian's checking out all of the cool tools included in this precious set...

The back of the apron features the Story of Joseph the Carpenter, which gives a glimpse into the life of this well-known bible character. Balian sat very patiently as I read the story to him, and gave me big smiles, all the way through, He's asked to hear it again many, many times in the short time we've had this play set. The story is short, and well-written, rhyming all the way through. It's a wonderful version of the story of Joseph, and as Balian grows, he will begin to recognize and understand different pieces of this story.

The Story of Joseph the Carpenter is printed on the opposite side of the work apron. It features an easy-to-read bible story, and a verse from Romans.

This is such a special play set to me, because it brings back fond memories of my mom and my grandmother taking me to bible schoo, bringing home bible story adventure videos, teaching us prayers, and me singing bible songs with my dad. This play set from Wee Believers is the perfect tool for parents who are very deeply rooted in faith, and even for new believers, who are looking for ways to introduce their children to bible history, and teach them about love and faith.

Balian has been enjoying his Joseph the Carpenter's Helper Set so much! He's even been adding a few of his other wooden toys in, and playing pretend. Check out a few of the photos of Balian playing his his Wee Believers toy...

I am actually really excited that I had the chance to work with Wee Believers, because I am really very impressed by and pleased with their selection of products! I stay at home with our little guy, and spend much of the day playing with, and trying to teach him about what we think he needs and deserves to know. Knowing the love of Christ is at the very top of my list, and thanks to Wee Believers, I have endless options of Christian toys for introducing Balian to Jesus, and those who have gone before us.
