Finding Nemo on Blu-Ray (Review + Holiday Activities)

We got a super special holiday treat in the mail last week- the newly released Disney's Finding Nemo on Blu-Ray, DVD, and 3D! We don't have a 3D TV, but we were pretty thrilled to be able to have a copy of Finding Nemo to watch on Blu-Ray! Sacha and I are big fans of Finding Nemo, and we knew Balian would absolutely love it!

Of course, we popped this disc into the Blu-ray player immediately, and snuggled up to watch Disney's Finding Nemo after lunch. I had such a great time telling my two-year-old son the names of the characters, as he pointed out the colors of all of the fish and sea creatures on the screen.

The story of Finding Nemo is so dear to our hearts, because it is truly relatable by so many. After experiencing tragic loss, Nemo, and his overprotective clown fish father, Marlin, form a close, unbreakable bond- but the waters are truly tested when they become separated. Finding Nemo is a heartwarming tale of love, friendship, and family, and pleases all ages as loveable and hilarious characters tell the story of a father's search for his only son. Through thick and thin- danger and fun, Marlin and Dori search for Nemo, who at the same time, is planning his escape from the dentist's fish tank, with his new friends! The scene where Nemo and his dad are reunited is so sweet, and makes me cry every time- even more so now, that I have a child of my own.

Finding Nemo is a now classic tale, perfect for the entire family, and a story that will absolutely be loved and enjoyed by future generations! Balian loved the colors, and all of the different animated characters- from the sea creatures to the sea gulls! If you thought this movie looked great before, wait until you see it on Blu-Ray! It sparkles and shines in a whole new way! I can only imagine how awesome this movie must look in 3D! If you've got a 3D TV, get this movie, lucky duck!
