There's something about keeping business all in the family, isn't there? I am lucky enough to be able to run the MBP blog with my sister, and two of my husband's amazing cousins, and every once in a while, I get to add a gust post or review that I've asked a family member to help me out with. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that we're including a holiday review, made possible by a member of my family!

Meet Janel of Wantage, NJ, and owner/creator behind the adorable designs available from Mobile Mommy Designs. Okay- confession time... Janel and I have never actually met, but she's my Great Aunt Bonnie's daughter-in-law, and has two amazing kids (which I have heard about firsthand from my Aunt Bonnie!). Janel creates adorable plush, eco-friendly dolls and more, and sells them online through her sweet Etsy shop! Included in the offerings from Mobile Mommy Designs, are the plush dolls, super hero capes, jewelry, pillows and blankets, and eco-friendly bags! Janel doesn't sell anything in her shop that she wouldn't use herself or let her own children use, so you can trust that these are child-safe items.

Janel was kind enough to send us a couple of her most popular items- her oh, so cute plush dolls! She asked  about a few of my son Balian's features, so she could tailor the little boy plush doll to look like him! I couldn't wait to see what Janel designed just for us!

Adorable Plush Toys from Mobile Mommy Designs- Raccoon, Super Hero & Bear

Balian went absolutely crazy when he saw the plush dolls on our dining table. I allowed him to play with the Superhero Plush Doll, and choose which of the animals he liked best. The Raccoon won out over the bear, so we put the bear aside, and went on our merry way, playing with these new friends.

Janel sent us a blonde little boy plush doll, with a 'B' for Balian on his chest! Balian recognized the 'B' right away, and gave me a big smile! He hugged his new doll, and then ran off for an adventure in his play tent. We spent the better part of the morning zooming and soaring around the house with this little guy, and had the best time! I loved it- because Balian was highly entertained and occupied by playing with this super cool doll, so I turned off the educational cartoons, and turned on some music!

Balian also loves his new raccoon plush toy. We've had to work on him remembering 'raccoon,' because for several days, this cute fella was a 'kitty cat.' He's been helping us tell the story of a silly bear who like to eat and sleep, and make lots of friends in the woods- including a raccoon!

Each of these cute little dolls is made from 100% cotton material, with a picture transferred onto the front using a professional grade heat press with transfer paper that is green-e certified for infants and children.
