Name Bubbles Review and Giveaway

With Beckett in school now, I am sending his lunch a majority of the time. He is not a kid who likes pre-packaged food very much, so I try to give him a variety of what we have in the house. His favorites include cheese cubes, carrots/ranch, yogurt, pretzels, and any type of fruit. I find myself putting most of his food into small containers that I hope return home. I labeled everything at the beginning of the year with permanent marker (ha) and nothing has his name still on it. I have a new solution though thanks to a recent company that wanted to work with MBP.

Name Bubbles is a company specializing in personalized labels for a variety of things. Started by a busy mom and based out of New York, Name Bubbles was first designed in a coffee shop and manufacturing started in 2009. They quickly received an award from IParenting Media for Outstanding Products. Name Bubbles continues to grow and has become a must have item for busy families, like mine. To learn more about Name Bubbles, check out their Media Room.

The whole process from start to finish with Name Bubbles was easy, pleasant, and efficient. I first visited the Name Bubbles site and browsed through the products-there are quite a few. I had already spoken with Amanda, Name Bubbles Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, so I knew that she wanted us to try out a few of their items. She wanted us to review and share the School Pack and the Lunchbox Labels/Write-On Labels.

-Here is my package from Name Bubbles-

The School Pack is a package of 88 personalized assorted labels that retails for $33.88. This pack includes 18 Mini Bubbles, 16 Fun Bubbles, 2 Super Bubbles, 8 Square Bubbles, 16 Bubble Toes, and 28 Bitty Bubbles. I went to the School Pack page and began to figure out what I wanted, because it is all personalized how I want it. My first decision was the Series of Labels, with three choices-Iconic, Monogram, or Signature. Knowing these would primarily be used for Beckett, I went with the Iconic Series. I then got to choose Style, Color Palette, Icon, Font, and Laminate (only for the included Laundry Labels) and finally add in all our personal information.

Here is the result of my Name Bubbles personalization, perfect for my little guy.

I used the Mini Bubbles on the smallest containers we send to school, these usually contain ranch dressing for dipping.
The Mini Bubbles are 1.75" long x .4" high, perfect for small containers, silverware, and small school supplies like pens and pencils. They are dishwasher safe, waterproof, and durable. Make sure to apply them to a clean, dry, smooth surface and wait 24 hours before washing them.

I used the Fun Bubbles for B's ice packs.
The Fun Bubbles are 2.75" long x .65" high, perfect for lunchboxes, ice packs, larger cups or thermos items, or even notebooks. They are freezer friendly and microwave safe.

The School Pack also included 2 Super Bubbles (perfect for larger items because they are oversized at 5.5" long x 1.3" high, great for backpacks, binders, luggage, and other bigger items) and 8 Square/Alert Bubbles (great for emergency contact information, allergy information, or general warning and simple size of 1.5" all the way around, great for anywhere they need to be).

The last two things inside the School Pack are both clothing labels. The first are the 16 Bubble Toes, sized at .75" long x 1.5" high and in the shape of a right and left shoe. These Bubble Toes are intended to help children learn to put their shoes on the correct feet and also label them. The second are the Bitty Bubbles, sized at .7" diameter, these cute little circles are great for clothing tags.
I went with unlaminated labels because they are durable in cold washing, thinner, and stay put. They also don't add anything to make B itch or want it off of him.

All of the labels in the School Pack have been wonderful for B's first year of school. I can easily apply a label to all his supplies and not have to worry about the label washing off. They are personalized just for him and he knows they are his. The ink is also non-toxic which makes Mom happy too.

My second product from Name Bubbles are the Write-On Labels, which retail for $21.88. The Write-On Labels are available in six different shape options, I chose the Write-On Round. Write-On Round labels come in a set of 48 and measure 1.5" diameter, also included are a Ink Pen and a Hydro Marker. To personalize the Write-On Labels, after you have selected a shape, you also select style, color palette, and up to 20 characters of personalization. I went with a general style and color knowing we will all be using these labels and our last name.

The 2 writing instruments are the Ink Pen, semi-permanent for everyday use, dries in 5 seconds, and easily removed with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball or the Hydro Marker, best for labels that will be warmed or microwaved, wiped off with a clean cloth. These allow for notes and information to be left on the label effectively.

I used our Write-On Labels for a cleaning solution after we had some rusty water come through the pipes. I used the Ink Pen because I wasn't going to heat the label and needed it to be clear on the bottle.

I am very pleased with the quality and durability of the Name Bubbles products I received. From the time I personalized them, to the time I received them it was less than a week. The personalization process was easy and Amanda was very helpful and pleasant. I know why Name Bubbles has done so well in just the few short years they have been around and I know they will continue to do so.

  5. Name labels are the best option for kid’s school items, since the tendency of kids to misplace things in schools increases manifold. Last month I have purchased name labels from Idmelabels(https://www.idmelabels.com) for my kids. The labels are durable, waterproof and have diverse and elegant with beautiful colors.
