Dollies Review

We have talked before about my love of Etsy, but I have been on a dry spell for reviewing wonderful Etsy creations until just now. You will need to check this Etsy store out, especially if  you love unique and crazy soft plush dolls, because you are in luck.
Dollies was created by plush doll maker and children's book illustrator Clara. Dollies was started Clara's freshman year of college as she and her future husband would draw silly characters and name them. How cool is that? Dollies has now become Clara's project on the side in her spare time. To read more about Clara, click here.
Dollies has been an Etsy shop since early 2012 and hasn't had many sales yet, but her feedback is 100% positive, including: so cute, super fast shipping, and will buy from you again soon. These glowing remarks, plus my experience with Dollies and Clara (which was excellent) makes me say this Etsy shop is a must to check out.
Our package from Dollies has arrived!
Scarlett happened to be the only one home the day it arrived, so she was the lucky winner to open the Dollies box. She was so excited.
 Almost there!
Inside the package was a four pack of super cute stickers (used immediately), a quick handwritten note (love), a Dollies business card, and an information card on the little plush doll-Lumpy.

Of course we also got Lumpy!
Who doesn't love soft, cuddly, stuffed critters, I know our house does! This little guy has been living at our house for over a month and has gotten lots of snuggles and hugs.
Lumpy is a part of a sibling group that also includes Eggy and Mayonnaise. Lumpy and Eggy always hang around each other, are very silly, and get into mischief because they never know what they are doing. Lumpy got his name because he has a lump on his side. Here is the rest of Lumpy's story.
Lumpy is about 7" tall and handmade by Clara. Lumpy's feet, top of head hair, and eyes are glued on, so be careful with children under 3, but his beak is sewn. He is super soft and almost reminds me of a soft washcloth material for his body. He is perfect for cuddling and hugging. He would also make a great addition to an Easter basket.
Make sure to browse the whole Dollies Etsy Store and check out ClaraDolly too. Prices range from $10 and up for a wide assortment of Dollies that includes people, monsters, bats, chickens, and more. There are plush and crochet options with a variety of personality and styles.

  1. Don't forget to mention that Lumpy makes a great zombie duck! Scarlett was chasing me around the driveway earlier and Lumpy was yelling braaaaains in a little tiny zombie duck voice. -Jess
