I can't believe it's September. Seriously, where did summer go? I feel like I was just at the beach, enjoying the beautiful ocean waves a few short weeks ago! Now that there's a chill in the air, I can't help but think ahead to Christmas. It'll be here before I know it, and I like to start shopping early, so that I'm not having to search for gifts at the last minute.

This year, I want to try to give everyone something that I know they'll really appreciate and enjoy. I am so over giving someone a gift, just because I need to give them a gift. I have a few things up my sleeve for Balian, my 23 month old son, but my sweet little boy loves Angry Birds. I found an Angry Birds Giant Plush toy, and I think he's definitely going to love it!

What little boy wouldn't love to see this fella under the tree on Christmas morning?

My sister-in-law loves, loves, loves chocolate. I think that she would go crazy over her very own chocolate fountain! She likes to entertain, so I can only imagine the fun she would have, breaking out a personal chocolate fountain at family gatherings, or for girl's night at her house! All I have to say is that of I get her one of these, she'd better invite me over!

Do you know anyone who would enjoy a chocolate fountain?

I'm still thinking about getting my husband a remote control car. I kind of think it would be fun to get one for him, and one for Cory, my brother-in-law, so they can race them and crash them, and well- be boys, I guess.

For the forgetful folks- the grandparents, and mommy (that would be me!), I think a hilarious, yet helpful gift is pretty thoughtful, I love the idea of giving them something they'll use every day, and when I came across this silly Memo Mug, I knew that I had to at least get one for my dad. If my husband sees this, he'll say he needs to get one for me, too. Since becoming a mom, I do forget a lot of things... can't help it. If I could write notes on my coffee mug, though, maybe I'd forget a lot less!

Whatever I decide to get for everyone, I know Christmas will be great, because we'll all be together, as a family. I'm looking forward to seeing my son's eyes light up on Christmas morning. It'll be yet another new experience, because this year, he'll have a better understanding of what's going on.
