Scarlet's Naturals (Review & Giveaway)

Diaper rash... to prevent or not to prevent???  I prevent! Cameron has never had a diaper rash, and this could be because we use cloth diapers, or it could be because we use prevention.  Prior to switching to cloth diapers, I never worried about diaper rash. I always thought if Cameron got one, I would deal with it then.  Well, now with using cloth diapers, I double stuff his diapers at bedtime so he doesn't have to be changed when he gets up for his middle of the night feeding.  Well, sometimes in the morning, he is a little red from sitting in a pee diaper all night.  Since I have found Scarlet’s Naturals Hiney Honey Quick Stick ,we don't have that problem.

I was introduced to Scarlet’s Naturals when I did a review for Bundles and Buzz.  I was given a teeny tiny sample of the Hiney Honey Quick Stick and immediately had to use it.  Who wants to “smear” ointment or cream all over their kiddos toosh? Not me!  With the Hiney Honey Quick Stick you just open, twist the tube up like chapstick and apply.  Its that simple!.  Well, with the small tube I was given I ran out fast. I started applying it at every changing.  I had to get more!

Scarlet’s Naturals was kind enough to send me not only the BIG Hiney Honey Quick Stick, but they also sent me some of their wonderful Scarlet’s Honey Lotion.  Scarlet’s Naturals was started out of necessity for one family.  Their newborn baby girl “Scarlet” had horrible skin sensitivities and they wanted to make their own products, so they knew what they were using on her.  Then, word of mouth happened and their small company that started in their kitchen grew.

The Scarlet’s Naturals Hiney Honey Quick Stick is made with all natural ingredients that will leave your skin or your little one's toosh just as soft as ever.  Each stick is made with coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, olive oil, beeswax, chamomile, and grapefruit seed extracts.  Oh, did I mention it smells like yummy chocolate??? Must be that shea butter and cocoa butter.

Hiney Honey Quick Stick is our Hiney Honey Cream in an easy to apply stick form. Hiney Honey Quick Stick is an all natural diaper rash cream that is cloth diaper safe, no barrier or liner needed. Apply directly to affected skin without getting it on your hands. Works well for other skin problems, such as dry, sensitive skin, cuts, scrapes or eczema. Using the power of coconut oil, Hiney Honey Cream is able to safely and effectively clear up skin.  2 oz.

Being a mom, I wash my hands a million times a day, so I LOVE lotion!  Pearberry is one of my favorite scents (guess I got lucky).  This lotion will keep your skin soft, and moisturized and smelling good.

Paraban free and extra gentle for delicate skin, Honey Lotion uses Lanolin, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, and coconut oil to give a boost of moisturize and protect skin. This all natural lotion is 100% chemical free, non-irritating and works great on all skin types including dry, sensitive skin, or eczema. Comes in 4 scents- Soothing Lavender, Oatmeal Milk & Honey, Pearberry, and Unscented! Soothing Lavender Works Great for Bedtime! (taken from the Scarlet’s Naturals Website)

  2. What's worked for you in diaper rash prevention in the past?
~ we've had to use sensitive and natural everything, and if diaper rash did pop-up regular A&D ointment (not the cream) helped with the severe cases and coconut oil helped with the very mild cases.
