MBP Goes Back to School

My little man is only 21 months old, but this fall, he'll be immersed in new activities and social settings, which will hopefully prepare him for wee preschool, the following year. We'll be joining in weekly story time at our local public library, and we'll also be heading to Weekday Church School every Wednesday afternoon at our church- I'm a volunteer this year, and Balian will get some much-needed play time with his fellow toddlers at church.

Even though he doesn't know the difference between church clothes, nicer casual clothes, and everyday knock around the house clothes, I still want Balian to look stylish, and be comfortable. I really wanted to feature some great back to school styles of clothing for toddlers, and kids, so I started searching for kids clothing brands I'd never heard of before. When I came across Rugged Bear, I knew I'd found something special.

I was thrilled to receive a new Rugged Bear outfit from their new Fall 2012 line, for Balian. I worked with Chelsea, and she was super wonderful between corresponding with me, working out the details, and making sure we were selecting the correct size that Balian would need. 

 

3 pc Grey Set: Hooded Jacket, Long Sleeved Tee, Long Pants

We went with an absolutely adorable 3 pc Boy's Set from Rugged Bear. It didn't take long to wind up at our door, and I couldn't wait to see the outfit. Everything always looks so much better in person, than in a photograph. I knew from the photo that Chelsea sent to me, that I would love this outfit, but it wasn't until I got a good look at it, that I fell in love with it.

This handsome, classic style cotton long sleeved tee is the perfect shirt for fall! Of course, I love the color (I wear a lot of grey), and think the Rugged Bear logo is super cool! It's a lightweight, yet durable cotton tee, and I know that it will wear well when Balian is playing hard with the other kids, coloring, having a snack, or enjoying listening to a story. It's the perfect kind of shirt for a sunny fall North Carolina afternoon.

To compliment the casual tee, we received super soft knit pants. These pants are light enough for playtime, but they're heavy enough to protect against chilly fall temperatures and wind. They're cotton, but also a bit stretchy, which means that they'll easily move with my little man, who is constantly on the move. He'll be warm and toasty while playing on the playground, or super cozy while snuggling with mommy at home. And the knee patches? Love them! I am crazy about knee and elbow patches on little kids clothing, and to add it to this cute pair of knit pants was a great idea, in my book!

And of course, no outfit would really be complete for the fall season, without a light jacket. This sweet little grey set from Rugged Bear included a striped grey hoodie. Balian has already taken to this jacket, and I have a feeling he'll be wanting to wear it all the time! I really like the classic striped style of the jacket, love the little pockets, and I like the RB emblem, too- looks very collegiate. A jacket like this is an absolute must for us, here in NC, because the fall morning will be cool, an we'll need some warmth and protection on our morning walks, but nothing too heavy.
