George Foreman Removable-Plate Grill Review

I love summertime for a lot of reasons, and one big reason is that we get to do a lot of grilling. I love grilling because it's a healthier way to cook our foods, and there are so, so many different things that we can grill! We love grilling everything from chicken and steak to veggies and homemade pizzas! We haven't used our trusted outdoor grill as much this summer, though- simply because it has been so darn hot outside.

When I heard that I had been selected to try out the new George Foreman Removable-Plate Grill, I was very excited. We're the proud owners of a couple of older styles of the George Foreman Grill, which, to be honest, haven't seen the light of day in a long time. I love what our George Foreman Grills can do, and loved the way the cooked for us in the past, but cleaning them was always unpleasant.

We couldn't wait to give this a try!

The new George Foreman Removable-Plate Grill, is just as easy to use as the older ones, but it features two removable plates- top and bottom, which both snap in, and detach at the push of the sides, so they can easily be cleaned!

The Grill Features:
Exclusive Fat Removing Design
Diswasher-Safe Removable Plates
Floating Hinge
Dual Grill Positions
George Tough Nonstick Coating
Power Indicator Light
Dishwasher-safe Drip Tray
3-year Limited Warranty
The first time we used the new George Foreman Grill, we decided to grill brats. We'd been wanting them, but just couldn't bring ourselves to face the scorching heat outside and start up the grill. The George Foreman Grill has enough room to make five servings, which is more than enough for us. There were five brats in the package, so we decided to just cook all of them on the grill and eat the leftovers later.  The brats cooked through in about fifteen minutes, and they were nice and plum, and juicy, even though the excess fat had dripped into the 'fat tray.' They were quite good, served with a little side of homemade mac and cheese, and broccoli.

Sacha thinks he also has to be the master of the indoor grill!

Here are our brats- cooking away!

The end result- a delicious, juicy brat, cooked on a grill, in the kitchen!
Three cheers for our new George Foreman Grill!

We've grilled chicken, steak, veggies and burgers on our George Foreman Grill, and everything turned out perfectly. I've even made grilled cheese and granny smith apple panini's on the GF! They always turn out perfectly grilled, and ooey gooey good!

We've also grilled steaks on our George Foreman Grill! They were so good!

My absolute favorite thing that we ended up grilling on the George Foreman Grill, was chicken and veggies.

Grab my recipe:

Italian Grilled Chicken and Veggies for Two

One large boneless, skinless chicken breast, filleted, and halved
Two zucchinis, halved and quartered
One onion, thinly sliced (sliced into rings)
One tomato, seeded and sliced
1/4 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Marinate the chicken in your favorite Italian dressing for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
After the George Foreman Grill is heated, throw the chicken breasts on and grill for about fifteen minutes, or until cooked through.

While the chicken rests, lightly coat the sliced veggies in the Italian dressing, and place them face down on the grill plate. I left the grill open, and flipped them once, instead of closing the lid on them. When the veggies are grilled through, sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese on top, and let it melt. Do not close the grill on top of the cheese!

Plate it all up, and there you have it- delicious grilled chicken, and grilled veggies with a little Italian flavor, and my favorite- warm, melty cheese!

Clean up has been a snap after each and every time we've used the George Foreman Grill. Because the plates are removable, they go right into the sink to be hand washed, or right into the dishwasher. No scraping, no yucky charred mess of stuff flying everywhere and sticking to the floor! I love how convenient this product is, and can't wait to see what other kinds of improvements it will have made to it in the future!

I can't wait to try many more great recipes out on our new George Foreman Grill!

What's for dinner?
