Summer is here, and I have to admit one my favorite parts of summer is eating. Fresh strawberries, melon, cherries, Indiana sweet corn, and summer squash are some of my favorite things in the whole world! I really love eating fresh fruits and vegetables but I really hate buying them because I always feel like I throw half of them away! If you are like me then you will love the FridgeSmart containers from Tupperware.

The FridgeSmart containers use a unique separate venting system to help each individual fruit or vegetable get the airflow that is right for them. There is even a picture diagram printed right on the container to help you know what vent setting is right for the type of produce you are storing. The FridgeSmart containers come in a variety of sizes, 6X6, 6X9, 6X12, and 6X15. They are stackable and even dishwasher safe.

I thought Id try it out with some fresh strawberries. Here are my results.

After 1 week in fridge.

I can't believe how wonderful the strawberries still tasted and looked! I would have had to toss these, no questions asked if I had just left them in their regular container. The only downside I saw with the FridgeSmart container I received is I couldn't fit a whole pack of strawberries in the small container. But still, FridgeSmart containers are awesome and Id totally buy more!
