I'm a mom who likes to be comfortable. When I wake up, I stay in my pj's (usually a pair of yoga pants and a tank top) as long as possible- through my first cup of coffee, through two hours of morning blogging and work, etc. I'm not someone who likes to wear shoes around the house, either. I would almost always rather be barefoot, unless the floor looks like it hasn't been swept in a while. No shoes and no support for my feet, however, leave my poor tootsies calloused, and my heels dry and cracked. I was lucky enough to receive a pair of the tan open toe slippers by Nature's Sleep. I was kind of excited about receiving them. I haven't worn slippers around the house since I was a little girl, but there have definitely been moments where I wished that I'd had a pair to cradle my feet in recent years.

I tried on the slippers almost right after taking them out of the package. I loved how they felt on my feet. They fit well, and seemed not tight, but just snug enough around the tops of my feet. I walked around in them, and there was no sliding out of them, as I often do with slippers. They stayed on my feet the entire time I was wearing them, and they felt nice and light. I have hardwood floors and tile floors in my home, so I am walking on hard surfaces all day. These lovely slippers from Nature's Sleep make me feel like I'm walking on a puffy cloud!

I've been loving my new slippers so much that I have been wearing them morning and night! I know that I'll definitely appreciate having these around during the winter months, when the floors are nice and chilly in the mornings. Since it's summertime, I am loving that these are an open-toe design, letting my pedicure show through, and letting my feet breathe. My feet do get a little sweaty after wearing them for about an hour or so, but at least that is a good indication that my feet are being kept warm!

 I wish I'd had this comfy pair of slippers when I was pregnant- they probably would have been wonderful for my aching feet. I also wish that I'd had them while in the hospital after Balian was born, and at home, while recovering from my C-section!
