Danze Shower Head (Review & Giveaway)

My hubby and I have hearts for old houses. A Realtor I once worked with once told me that she could tell that Sacha and I had 'old souls' and belonged in an older home, just by looking at us. She sure had us pegged! We do live in an older home- a cute craftsman bungalow, which I have fallen in love with, little by little. The house is not our own. We have been renting this house for two years, and every now and then, we try to put our own stamp on it. It's hard to do that, though, when you're in a home that really isn't yours. If we did own our house, there are many projects that we would take on, number one on our list being the bathroom. The entire bathroom just needs to be gutted. We'll soon be having the floor ripped out and replaced, but really- the entire bath/shower just needs to come out and be replaced, because it's so dated.

I may never see a new bathtub/shower in this house, but I at least got the chance to give my shower a little upgrade by receiving a new shower head to review from Danze. Now, I'd never heard of Danze before, and neither had my husband, but when he heard 'new shower head,' he was all for trying Danze out!

The Danze 4" 503D Three-Function Shower Head

We received the Danze 4" 503D Three-Function Shower Head. I asked my husband to swap the shower heads the very day we received the new one from Danze. He said it was super simple to install- he just grabbed a wrench, twisted the old one off, put the new one from Danze on, and tightened it. It took less than ten minutes to swap the old shower head for the new one from Danze. I immediately loved the way it looked. It was nice and shiny, and gave our shower/tub an instant upgrade. I almost wanted to hop into the shower to test it out that evening! I waited until the next morning, though.

As soon as I turned the shower on the next day, I noticed right off the bat that the stream was a vast improvement over the old shower head. The Danze shower head is much wider than our old one, and with the wide stream setting, it sort of makes you feel like you're being rained on. I had one of the best showers I'd had in a very long time, standing underneath the Danze shower head, and have been enjoying my showers ever since!

I can take a nice, gentle shower, one with medium pressure, or one with super concentrated pressure that feels like a massage! The settings are easy to change, too. With a simple turn and click of the shower head, you've changed your setting and you're ready to go! The Danze shower head is nice to look at, and it's easy to clean. Because this is a WaterSense product, it cuts down on water usage, and will help save you a few bucks on your water bill!
