Jewelry is something that most every girl wants to own and wear. I fall in to that category, but I always struggle buying it for myself. Once I became a mom, buying things for myself became harder and harder to do, especially when it was expensive or hard to justify. I wish 6 years ago I knew about the direct sales companies I do today.

I had only recently heard of one such direct sales company, but didn't know much about it. When I got the chance to work with them, I was pretty excited.

Stacia first contacted me to see what kind of jewelry person I was. She wanted to best know my personality to fit the piece of Cookie Lee jewelry she would send for me to review. I always appreciate a direct sales consultant who takes the extra time to get to know the customer. Stacia is also super friendly and quick to respond to emails.

After discussing what kind of Cookie Lee jewelry would be best, Stacia sent me a bit of information on the piece she chose, The Millefiori Art Necklace.

The Millefiori Art Necklace is part of the Cookie Lee Anniversary special and currently available for $20. This necklace is item #99305 on page 53 of the Cookie Lee Spring/Summer 2012 catalog. The jewel piece of the necklace is made of handmade glass with colored decorations. Each glass piece is slightly different, which makes each of the Millefiori necklaces extra unique. The glass piece is a little smaller than 2", a perfect size to show off and not be considered too much bling. The necklace is made of a suede like material and adjustable from 16-21". The brown color makes it so neutral as to not take away from the glass centerpiece.

I love the randomness of colors within the glass, I can pair it easily with jeans and a tee for a toned down look or a colored sundress for a more dressed up feel. It is not heavy on your chest or neck. I wore it to a class last week that I was taking and got many compliments on it. It dressed up my simple colored dress and stood out for a really great look.

My apologies to Stacia and our readers for a lack of personal photos of the Millefiori necklace. I usually take photos of my products right away and for some reason did not this time. After wearing it twice, some small children have found a new home for it, a home which I am not aware. I will continue looking for my necklace so I can hopefully show it off again.
