My nineteen month old son, Balian, has a lot of cute and cuddly friends, but most of them are just that- cuddly friends, not learning toys. I love to give Balian toys that will help him to learn colors, numbers, letters, shapes, etc. Having wonderful learning toys at my disposal is a huge help to me, as I try to teach him while we're at home together.

One of my favorite places to look for unique gifts for sweet little babes is Aurora World, Inc. I received a sweet teddy bear, which sings the ABC's as a baby shower gift, when pregnant with Balian, and it quickly became one of his best stuffed pals. When Aurora World, Inc. contacted me with an opportunity to review one of their newest products, I jumped at the chance!

Aurora World, Inc. just added an adorable bunch of pals to their Crinkle Friends Brights Collection. We were asked to choose one of the four friends to review, and the choices were between an alligator, a crab, a hedgehog and a toucan. From the photo, all of these Crinkle Friends Brights looked adorable, but I decided to go with the alligator for Balian.

We got our new Crinkle Friends Brights Alligator from Aurora World, Inc. within just a few days, and I was excited to be able to give it to Balian. He sat down to play with his alligator right after his bath, before bedtime. I pointed out the super soft underbelly of the alligator, and rubbed it against Balian's face. We play a little game, where I rub soft things against his skin and sing a little 'soft, soft, soft' song, and the new Crinkle Friends Brights Alligator was a welcome addition to our game!

The Crinkle Friends Brights Alligator is softer than my favorite pair of silky, fuzzy socks, and features bright colors like green, pink, yellow, red, orange and blue. Mr. Gator has a little red heart, and a yellow star on his back, along with the numbers one and two. The alligator also has a rattle inside of him, crinkles, and squeaks, too! He has three silky ribbon strands on his back, and at the back of his tail, as well.

Balian has been enjoying playtime with his new Crinkle Friends Brights Alligator. I've enjoyed being able to point to different colors or shapes on the alligator, and hear my son tell me what they are, without having to prompt him. Mr. Gator is a great comfort at nap time, a perfect size to toss into the diaper bag to take with us on the road, and is all around cute and provides lots of learning fun!
