Pink Zebra with Jennifer Morgan (Review & Giveaway)

I love springtime, but one of the things I dread about it is having to deal with springtime allergies. My poor husband is so sensitive this time of year, that it seems we spend much more time indoors than we'd like to. Everything gets to him- the grass, trees, flowers... and this year, they're even bothering me, and Balian, as well! This makes me feel super sad, because I am a lover of having fresh-cut flowers in the house. They look beautiful, and smell so good to me- but they just set my husband's nose off, so I don't even bother buying them or cutting them.

 Jennifer Morgan, Independent Executive Consultant

Lucky for me, though, there's a great solution to this little problem. With the help of Jennifer Morgan, an Independent Consultant with Pink Zebra, I can have the aroma of freshly cut flowers in my home again, without setting anyone's allergies off! Pink Zebra is a direct sales company, featuring home fragrances and accessories. I have had the chance to smell lots of different fragrances from Pink Zebra, and I have got to be honest- as much as I love the scents from all of the other home fragrancing companies, Pink Zebra's scents are right at the top of my list. They just smell so good! Their scents are strong, but definitely not overpowering, and they last a long time. Instead of wax chunks, Pink Zebra offers wax beads, of sprinkles, as they are called. They come packaged in a cute little glass jar, and you can use as much or as little of it as you'd like at a time with your fragrance warmers.

PZ items come packaged just like this! Ready for gift-giving!

Jennifer was kind enough to send me one of the lovely Pink Zebra Simmer Pots (the small one), and a jar of sprinkles to try in my home. I couldn't wait to see which simmer pot and sprinkles fragrance Jennifer picked out for me. When the package from Jennifer arrived, I carefully opened it up, and was greeted by the famous Pink Zebra packaging- pink and white zebra striped boxes! There's nothing dull about opening up a package from Pink Zebra- it's fun and exciting right from the very beginning! Jennifer sent me the Small Simmer Pot in green, and a jar of Fig and Cardamom Sprinkles.

 Fig and Cardamom Sprinkles

I immediately removed the screw-top lid to the jar of sprinkles and sniffed my heart out! The 3.75 oz jar of sprinkles smelled absolutely divine! My nose was tantalized by the scent of sweet fig, and hot and spicy cardamom. It's an interesting scent, and after looking through all of the scents available from Pink Zebra, it probably wouldn't have been one that I would have chosen just by reading the scent description... which is why it's great to be able to smell the scents (good reason to host or go to a Pink Zebra party!). I love the scent, though. I figured it would be a great scent for my kitchen, so I grabbed the simmer pot and headed in that direction.

Small PZ Simmer Pot filled with the Fig and Cardamom Sprinkles!
Smells so good in my kitchen!

The small simmer pots from Pink Zebra are gorgeous. I love that they are a smaller size than all of my other warmers. I can place it in a smaller space, and it fits perfectly, yet doesn't get lost among other things. The simmer pot is a ceramic warmer and dish, with a beautiful raised design around it. I love that it sort of looks like it has a vintage feel, though it's incredibly French country chic. The sage green color and glaze over the ceramic blends beautifully with the colors in my kitchen. I can't do anything about my yellow walls, but I have sage green and black accents in my kitchen, so the small simmer pot from PZ just adds to that. If I had my choice of where to display my simmer pot, it would be on my beverage bar- a shallow, but wide counter near the door, which is where my Keurig and coffee cups live. However, Balian could easily reach the warmer, if I placed it there, so I will keep it on my kitchen counter for the time being- still looks great there! The simmer pot features a little red light on the side, which lights up when the warmer is on. I love this feature- it's a visible reminder to turn the warmer off before heading out the door, going to bed, etc. The dish sits atop the base of the simmer pot, and this is where I add my Sprinkles. I can add a few Pink Zebra Sprinkles, or a lot of Sprinkles and let them melt away. When I'm ready to change out the scent, I just pop the dish into the freezer for about five minutes, and then easily pop the old, melted wax out. I wait for the dis to return to room temperature before returning it to the base of the simmer pot and adding new sprinkles.

Can't wait to get the Ivory Scroll Large Simmer Pot for my bedroom!
Looks so pretty!

All of the Simmer Pots from Pink Zebra are so pretty! I love the small ones, and the full sized ones. The Small Simmer Pots are perfect for little spaces- think bathrooms, the office, etc. I'd love to have one of the larger simmer pots for my bedroom! And of course, Pink Zebra offers make your own candle kits- which is so much fun! You could really get creative with the kids, here- just purchase the kit, and go crazy with mixing and matching the sprinkles to create your own masterpiece! If any dads out there are reading this- that would be a super cool idea for Mother's Day! Buy the kit and help the kids make a unique candle for mom! If you love candles and accessories, check out all of the beautiful items Pink Zebra has to offer, along with soaps and lotions, reed diffusers, and the new Simmering Lights collection.

I have got to try this scent!
I know my husband would love this!

I have to thank Jennifer for reigniting the flame that burns in my heart for Pink Zebra! I just love the Sprinkles so much! They are long-lasting, I love the scents, and they are just adorable to look at, and fun to use! I love that I can mix and match the Sprinkles... using a little of this one, and a little of that one to create a unique scent. I mixed my Fig and Cardamom with Amaretto Cream, and loved the result! While my poor hubby is working through the springtime allergies, I would love to have and use the April Fragrance of the Month, which is Eucalyptus Leaves (on sale for $6.00 in April!). Really- I want to have a collection of ALL of the Sprinkles from Pink Zebra, because I have a lot of fragrance warmers in my house, and would love to be using sprinkles in all of them! I have Spiced Vanilla in a tiny warmer in my bathroom right now!

PZ Sprinkles- so cute, and they look good enough to eat!

If you love home fragrances and accessories, and are looking for something new and fun, give Pink Zebra a try! You'll love the uniqueness of the Sprinkles, and all of their gorgeous warmers and accessories. There are lots and lots of Sprinkles to choose from, so don't be shy.
