My new years resolution was go to the gym on a consistent basis. It isn't happening. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteNo, it was to drop some pounds and I've gained a couple, not good.

Actually, this year I've done well, and I think it's simply because it wasn't my "usual" resolution of weight loss. I had back surgery for a herniated disc on October 29th & therefore my goal was to gain strength & in addition to that losing weight would always help. I only have about 20lbs to lose, but the doc said the lighter I am, the less stress that will be on my spine. I have been walking 30mins/day since I got off of bed rest in early January & do my physical therapy routines about 3-4 times/wk & I'm feeling stronger and losing a couple of lbs as I go :)

Not really, I wanted to start walking every day again, not keeping up with it too well.
