Natural House Cleaning Products (Review & Giveaway)

I am all for having a clean house, but dirt, grime and yucky stuff lurks below just the visible surfaces in our homes. The stinkies, germs and stains get trapped in places like the toilet bowl, the trash can and garbage disposal. I am usually so busy keeping the surfaces clean in my house (the floors, tables, counters, etc) that the trash can, sinks and toilet sometimes take a backseat on my list of top cleaning priorities. It's not that I don't want to clean them, or know they they need to be kept clean... there just aren't enough hours in a day to be constantly scrubbing, deodorizing and wiping down!

Lucky for me, I recently had the chance to try some products from Natural House. Natural House products are an awesome, revolutionary new way to clean your home! They use non-toxic, pro-biotic cleaning agents that are tough enough for commercial use, but gentle enough for all of the members of your natural house! I was sent a thirty day supply of three Natural House products: Flushy, Trashy and Sinky. I love the names of their products! 'Trashy' just makes me laugh every time I say it!

 Flushy...

I wanted to start using these products right away, so I didn't waste any time. I started with 'Flushy.' I couldn't remember the last time our toilets were really cleaned and scrubbed, so I was excited to have something new and interesting to try out. 'Flushy' looks like a little dissolving pack that you would toss into your dishwasher. The neat thing about it is that it's a toilet bowl cleaner, as well as a drain and septic treatment- all in one little packet! It was really easy to use. I simply plopped it into the toilet bowl and watched as it immediately started to fizz and turn blue, which meant I could truly know that the product was working. I let it sit for about thirty minutes, went back and gave the bowl a very gentle swipe with the cleaning brush, and then flushed it away. My toilet bowl was the cleanest and nicest-smelling I've ever known it to be!

What I love about Flushy...

-It cuts through stains and hard water
-Continues to consume toilet paper and other waste build up in the drains and pipes
-Great for the overall health of your septic system
-1 bag lasts for 30 days!
-Keeps the bowl looking and smelling fresh
-Probiotic action
-Convenient, easy to use pouch
-Eco-friendly, non-toxic, biodegradable

Trashy...

Next up, I put 'Trashy' to work. Now that Balian can reach and touches everything, I have to be extra good about keeping the inside and outside of our kitchen trash can super clean & fresh, and stink-free. This is where Trashy comes into play. Trashy is awesome! It's a no-touch trash can deodorizer and scrubber! Our trash can is really bad about trapping odors. We change the bags often, and even let it air out sometimes on nice days, plus sprinkle the bottom with baking soda, but it still ends up stinking! A few days ago, I tossed some fresh broccoli stems into the garbage and whew- that trash stank so badly the next morning. I took the trash out, but the odor lingered in my kitchen all day! When my Natural House products arrived, I dashed for Trashy, and sprayed the heck out of it and into my trash can. The probiotics went to work immediately, and the odor was literally gone within sixty seconds. I took the liner basket out of the trash can and sprayed the whole thing down- as well as the outside of the trash can. The nasty, stinky odors were long gone after using Trashy, and they stayed gone for days afterward! I've also used it in and around our diaper pail, and it's worked better than anything else I've tried so far. The diaper pail is definitely the smelliest place in our house. I also give our waste baskets around the rest of the house a little spritz with Trashy once a week, just to keep them all smelling fresh and clean. I've also sprayed our big, outside trash bin, as well as our recycling bin, and it has worked wonders on all of them!

What I love about Trashy...

-Probiotic action
-Foaming application
-Active ingredients keep odors from coming back
-1 bottle lasts for 30 days
-Use in indoor & outdoor trash cans and bins
-Use in recycling bins, diaper pails and smaller trash bins
-Eco-friendly, non-toxic, biodegradable

Sinky...

Last, but not least, I got to try 'Sinky' out! We have a garbage disposal (and thank goodness!), but I am not really very good at remembering to clean it. I sometimes shove something down in there, and then get distracted, forgetting to run the disposal. The scent of yucky, spoiled food just sits there, and then when I head back to the sink, it kindly greets me with smelliness. The other thing that I am guilty of is often letting what I think is only a little grease from a pan drain down my sink. What I forget is that a little grease will eventually add up and build up in my drain pipes over time. Sinky is really cool, because just like Flushy, it cleans, deodorizes and promotes overall good health for my sink and pipes. I tossed Sinky into my disposal and let the hot water run for about ten seconds. I then turned the disposal on for just a few seconds. Sinky foams just like Flushy, and works the same way. After using it, I noticed that it absorbed the odors, and my sink seemed to be draining much faster than usual!

What I love about Sinky...

-Probiotic action
-Foaming pouch apllication
-Naturally digests odors at the source and leaves a fresh, botanical scent
-Creates a safe, odor-eating eco-system in your drain
-Prevents a healthy drain line, braking down grease and clogs
-Keeps dangerous food-borne pathogens out of your sink
-1 pack lasts for 30 days
-Eco-friendly, non-toxic, biodegradable

They, much like me, want every house to be a safe place for all who inhabit it. Many thanks to the Powers family for developing these wonderful products and sharing them with the world!

Natural House also has a few other products in their line, like 'Surfy' for cleaning surfaces, 'Moppy' for mopping and 'Glassy' for cleaning glass. I want to try all of these products, and I hope that you'll give them a try, too!
