As a mommy of a little boy, I feel that my little prince deserves the very best. I enjoy dressing him in adorable clothing, but live in a small town, with a whole lot of nothing to choose from when it comes to clothing stores. I usually end up having to travel at least thirty-five to forty miles from home to find an acceptable store, and with gas prices constantly jumping up and down from one day to the next, my wallet just can't afford all of these trips out of town just for shopping.

I often turn to Etsy, because there are lots of shops with one of a kind items that are handmade with lots of love. I can't afford not to shop for sweet little B on Etsy, especially knowing that one of my favorite places to find customized clothing and more for Balian is on Etsy, too!

I am pleased and excited to introduce you to Baby Love Customs, a sweet little shop owned by Elizabeth Hitchcock. Baby Love Customs specializes in... you guessed it- customized & embroidered clothing for babies and kids! When Elizabeth offered to allow me to review one of her Valentine designs, I was super excited! Elizabeth picked a design to send us, so I knew I was in for a sweet surprise from BLC! She let me know that she would add Balian's name to the shirt, as well and I couldn't wait to see it!

It took just a few days for the shirt to be created and to make it my house! I hurried to open up the package from Baby Love Customs and to see Elizabeth's cute creation! She sent us a long sleeved onesie, bearing an absolutely adorable appliqued and embroidered froggy, wearing a crown with the words 'Prince Charming' around the applique and 'Balian' below it. I was just giddy over the onesie! I absolutely consider my son a little prince, so the design was definitely fitting!

Elizabeth from BLC uses 100% cotton tees for her designs, which I love! All of the men in my life have weirdness about their shirts not being 100% cotton, and I expect Balian will be the exact same way. I love the cute font that Elizabeth chose to use on this shirt, and the colors of the embroidery thread. The best part of the applique is that the fabric of the crown has little gold sparkling touches to it- fit for a prince, indeed!

Though this is intended for of Valentine's Day feature and it's featured in the Valentine category of the BLC shop, it's not too Valentine-y, and Balian can enjoy wearing this shirt all season long! Since we just got the shirt a few days ago, Balian has  only had the chance to wear it once so far, but it wore extremely well all day long and managed to stay clean through two meals, a nap and a day full of play!

Balian often tries to remove his clothing if he is the least bit uncomfortable, but he left his new onesie alone all day, which I was glad for. The inside of the onesie, on the back of the applique/embroidery design has a soft, but durable lightweight interfacing to protect Balian's sensitive baby skin from any kind of irritation. Love that Elizabeth takes that extra step to ensure the comfort of the little ones who wear her designs... makes for happy mommas, too!

Baby Love Customs has a ton of Valentine designs to choose from, and their prices really rock! Many designs are just $14.00 and a name can be added at no additional charge! I may get into some trouble here, because I see a whole bunch of designs I'd love for Balian to have!
