It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around my house. I pulled out some of my Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving and started decking the halls with a sweet little elf at my side. It'll take a while to get the house fully decorated. It seems like my entire neighborhood is decked out for the holidays inside and out, and that it all happened in one day! I have to do things in stages! We're working on finishing the decorating inside the house, but still have the outside to do, and then the tree will go up in another week or so. Once the house is all decorated, I can pour my hot cocoa, grab a candy cane, and get to working on mailing out our Christmas cards! Choosing a Christmas card can be kind of difficult sometimes, because there are so many beautiful cards out there. Since we now have Balian in our lives, I have turned to holiday photo cards. There are a lot of stores that offer photo cards, but none can compare to the adorable and beautiful cards available at Tiny Prints. I like the Feathered Flakes: Winterberry photo card. If I were just going to use a photo of Balian, I think I would go with this one. I also really love the Fanciful Flourish photo card, but think it may be better suited for someone with a little girl, rather than a boy. It's probably a little too girlie for my husband's taste in holiday cards.

I am drawn to all of the added text, the bright colors and the placement of the photo squares. If I can snap enough good-looking holiday shots, this just might be the winning card for us this year!
