When it’s cold out, I don’t think there is anyone in this world that enjoys scalding hot showers like I do. Sadly, hot water reeks havoc on my skin, especially my hands because as a Kindergarten teacher I am constantly washing them. “Well Jess” you might say, “lotion is a quick fix for that”. But until I tried the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set I would have quickly retorted “Lotion? No thanks!” I usually despise lotion because it’s greasy and makes me feel slimy but not the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set from consultantStephanie Hunt! I was hesitant at first to try it because like I said, I don’t like lotion but I'm a big girl now and need to try to new things.

The first step in the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set process is theFragrance-Free Satin Hands Hand Softener. You apply just a little bit and rub it into your hands. This is not a lotion you would use every day unless you had seriously dry cracked hands but it works great when used with the rest of the set. After the hand softener is all rubbed in you move on to the second step of the pampering process.

Step 2 is the Peach Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub. It is filled with exfoliating beads and has a delicious peach fragrance. I was hooked right away because of the smell. I love peach anything! After scrubbing my hands they felt clean and fresh but they were still pretty dry so I knew it was on to step 3.

The third step in the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set process is my favorite, the Peach Satin Hands Hand Cream. It was a nice smelling peach lotion that WASN’T GREASY! I couldn’t believe my eyes… well hands really, there was no slimy feeling at all. My hands actually felt like they had water on them while I rubbed in the cream and when it was all rubbed in my hands felt soft and smooth. No more dry skin! I can’t wait to make my husband try the whole process because that man has the driest hands in the world. He works at Discount Tire so he is constantly scrubbing dirt, tire sealer, and other rubbery grime off his hands. This in turn dries out his hands. He has put on some of the hand cream and it helped a lot already and he didn’t even mind the peach smell. The Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set is available in Fragrance Free and Peach.

Since doing the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set process yesterday my hands still feel nice and soft, even after many hand washings, a shower, and washing dishes! The Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set process isn’t something I will do every day but it will be a great way to pamper myself after a long week of teaching!
