Both of my kids love to hop in the shower for bathtime, yep the shower, and play to their hearts content, or the water runs cold, whichever comes first. When it comes to washing up time, we sometimes face a bit of a struggle.

The struggle is usually on the physically washing up. Beckett wants to do it himself, so we let him do his thing and finish up with a once-over by Mommy or Dad. He also is not a fan of soap in his hair, this weirds him out for some reason. Scarlett also does not want anything in her eyes or face-soapwise, just water does not bother them.

I usually stick with J & J's Honey Apple Baby Wash, it has a pleasant scent and the kids like the pump bottle it comes in to put the soap on themselves. I stick to what I know for my kiddos bath products, but I was recently introduced to a newer (created in 2000) bath essentials company called Jordan Essentials. I worked with Tracey Houchin, who is the Customer Service Manager for the Home Office of Jordan Essentials. This experience may be a new change in bathing for our house.

Item #1-Blueberry Bubble Blast Shower Gel

Scarlett loved the blueberry smell, she kept sniffing her hands and soap. It isn't overpowering and lathers up and rinses well. I didn't notice the scent last much after the bath, which is fine by me. Both kids loved the color of the soap as well.

Item #2-Lovely Lion Head-to-Toe Lotion

By far my favorite smelling product of the bunch. It isn't greasy and leaves a great feeling afterwards. I am evening using this lotion on my own hands. I love creamsicles and this reminds me of them!

Item #3-Kids Toy Surprise Soap-4 oz bar

Not Intended for Children under 3

I am not one for grape flavors, but this one doesn't seem to bother me. Scarlett and Beckett have been busy scrubbing up themselves, the shower, and anything else just to get to the toy inside. As a bar I was worried it might be cakey but is very smooth and rinses cleanly.

Item #4-Moisturizing Monkey Lotion Bar

Scarlett's favorite product. She loves the monkey on the front, but even more so, she loves to open the container and rub the lotion bar on all by herself. I have found her many times just rubbing the bar up and down her legs. The banana scent seems very calm and not overpowering. The lotion bar leaves S's skin smooth.

Item #5-Kids Soap Saver

This makes the bath gel foam up into a fun soapy mess. It really cuts back on wasted soap from the regular pump as well.

Item #6-Happy Hippo Hand Sanitizer (Grape)

We love "magic soap" at our house. I keep bottles in the car for all our ins/outs running errands. This has a grape scent again, not my favorite, but liked by the kids.

Scarlett loves chapstick, she feels like she is putting on fancy makeup and I don't mind because her lips are soft and kissy smooth afterwards. This lip tube, has a very nice light flavor and is clear, even though it is cherry flavored.

Love the orange color!

Great for sudsing up and my kids have been fighting over who gets to play with it first.
