I can't believe that Thanksgiving is in just a couple of days. It seems like the fall season is just flying by, and Christmas is quite literally around the corner! I started doing a little Christmas shopping a few weeks ago, because I knew how extremely busy I would become once Thanksgiving has passed. And now here we are, mere days away from turkey and ham, and instead of shopping on Black Friday, I drag out my decorations and start wrapping the few gifts I have on hand.

I am still without gifts for a number of people on my shopping list this year. It seems like once it gets around this time, I start running out of gift ideas! I wait and wait, thinking that the perfect gift will just magically appear, but it never does, and I end up buying something meaningless and giving a gift just to have a gift to give. I don't know about you, but I hate doing that! I want to give a gift that's going to mean something to the person receiving it... or I at least want to give them something they want to receive!

I am so glad that I recently got to work on a Holiday Gift Guide review with Nicole Biffle of Gold Canyon Candles. She sent me the neatest gift idea for the holidays! It's a smaller size than my other warmers, and it holds a photo! I can change the look of this warmer as often as I want, which is great! The other cool thing about Scent Pod Warmers from Gold Canyon Candles is that the wax scents literally come in pods, and you simply place the pod (still in its container) into the tray of the warmer. The wax warms in the pod, not in the warmer. You can swap out the scents whenever you want to! There's no digging out wax or worrying about burns! So, so cool! I love the timer feature, too! I can turn the warmer on for just a few minutes, or a few hours! I had an open house a few days ago, and wanted every room of the house to smell great for my guests, so I placed my warmers all around the house. The Black Picture Perfect Scent Pod Warmer in on top of my dresser in my bedroom, because it matches my black and white decor theme. I set the timer on four hours, and just let it do its thing right before my guests were to arrive. The room smelled wonderful throughout my event, and I never had to think to remember to turn the warmer off!

I love going into my bedroom and seeing this adorable picture of our family, and even better, I love that it's in a scent warmer! The Scent Pod Warmer wouldn't be nearly as cool without the Scent Pod! Nicole sent me the Gingerbread House Scent Pod, and I have to say, that it's my favorite scent in the whole house right now! As soon as I removed the lid from the Scent Pod, the scent just started wafting throughout my bedroom. Honestly, I don't even have to turn the warmer on to get a great smelling room! We keep our Diaper Champ in our bedroom, simply because all of the diaper changes happen on our bed, despite having a changing table in B's room. The Scent Pod certainly helps any diaper stinkies disappear! Gotta love that!  The Gingerbread House Scent Pod releases yummy scents of cinnamon, clove, sweet brown sugar, molasses and nutmeg! Mmm... it's like walking right into grandma's kitchen!
