**Beckett's 5th Birthday Bash Sponsor**

When Beckett it trying to decide on something, it can usually become a very long process. When you are 5ish, every option has to be taken in to great consideration. He first wants to make a list of options, then we talk about the list, then we have eliminations off the list until we are left with the final decision. Tell me this is semi-normal behavior of the 5ish year old boy variety.

Needless to say, birthday themes for the big 5, were a big dilemma. He spent days talking about possible ideas and what would be fun to have, then we spent days trying to talk him into or out of certain ideas (there has to be some parental say after all). When a final decision had been made, we were really excited because of all the ideas and options out there.

His choice for birthday number 5--Lego blocks!

I have proclaimed my love of Etsy already, so that was the first place I started looking for ideas. While looking I came across a great shop called Devany's Designs.

Devany's Designs has been a part of the Etsy community since 2009 and has a bunch of celebration items-from invitations, to banners, to cakes, and more. Devany was extremely willing to have us review a giant Lego style banner. We had great communication and received our banner in less than 2 weeks.  Our banner arrived safely, completely assembled in a clear reusable tied baggie.

The banner itself is hand-cut and decorated to be one of a kind. Each letter is bright, colorful, about 4" x 6", made from heavier stock paper, and individually laminated. The letters are then strung together with fabric ribbon. They seem very durable and can easily be wiped off if a spill happens to occur.

The banner was displayed across our mantle and in plain sight of everyone arriving for the party. It was also right where we open presents, so it got lots of viewing time. The giant Lego style banner was a huge hit with all the adults and "how cool" it was. Beckett was very excited to have a huge "Happy Birthday" just for him.

The giant Lego style banner from Devany's Designs was a great welcome to the party and backdrop for present opening. It easily folded back into the reusable baggie for another day. I already had people from the party ask to borrow it if they did a Lego style party--I said of course!!
