Is it fall yet? Seriously, it feels like it has been Summer since March and there has been little relief from this blasted heat! Even though it's not really fall outside, even though the leaves are falling, I am determined to start the fall festivities inside! The Serenity Light from Terri Shepard is exactly what I was looking for to start the Fall party "Up in Here!"
Southern Serenity Keepsakes is a company owned by husband and wife Larry and Terri Shepard, I know, I love it it too! Their company came from Terri crafting and making the products, to help her cope and manage the pain of her nerve disorder. The products that come out of her " coping and managing" are absolutely beautiful. The name Southern Serenity comes from the fact that they live in Southern Kentucky and hope that the products they make and provide their customers with are Serene and Calm and leave you with a lasting impression of the company. And let me tell you, I am a customer for life now!
I was given the Serenity Light to review for everyone and I am in LOVE!!! The Serenity Light is a clear, ceramic block that can be customized with whatever picture, saying, scene, or anything your heart desires on both sides. The pictures are then laminated so you can easily clean it! Terri, then puts clear stringed lights inside so it lights up a room with elegance and true serenity when plugged in. The Serenity Light can then be put on a pedestal if you so choose, and topped with a bow!
After some deliberation, and help from Terri, I decided on a Fall theme on one side, and a Winter scene on the other. It is such a genius idea. When Fall is over, just turn the light to the other side and you are ready for Winter! Plus you have one less thing to store after the holiday seasons are over, and if you are anything like me, finding storage is hard to do.
I pulled mine out to reach the plug!
The Christmas Side!
If you aren't into the season's theme, how about a family portrait? I also thought, for our male readers, because I know there are some of them out there, how about ordering one if you are going to pop the question? One side can have a beautiful and memorable photo of the two of you, and then you can flip it over to reveal " Will You Marry Me?" I think that would be such a fun and cute way to pop the question, plus you will always have something to remember it by. How about using one as a night light for your itty-bitties? They would love to see their "Name in Lights!" Plus, Southern Serenity is very affordable, offering different sizes and prices on their products. You'll keep coming back for more!
