Day in DC

This is probably surprising to most, since we live so close by- but Sacha and I never go to into DC. We never have the time, which is a shame b/c there are so many great places to go in DC. We spent most of the day down there yesterday (Monday, the 11th) and really had a lovely time. The weather was gorgeous- sunny, and in the mid 70's. The gardens were in full bloom and really beautiful just to walk through. We went to the Hirschorn Museum (art), and then had a light lunch at the Chop House Brewery, and then made our way to the Portrait Museum, which is way too huge to see the entire thing. Stopped by Tangy Sweet to share some yummy fro-yo before hopping the Metro back to College Park. All in all, we had a most enjoyable day.
