Happy Saturday! It's the last weekend of October and it definitely feels like it outside, here in Connecticut. Our weekend started with waking up a little too early (for a Saturday) and now we are preparing for our day. It's going to be a little different than most of our weekends since the girls are going to spend time with their Auntie and Matt and I will actually be heading to the casino! 

We saw this picture posted to an event on Facebook and I really wanted to go and support a great cause. I thought I would be going alone because we were having difficulty finding someone available to take the girls. Thankfully, last night my sister said she would be available! Matt and I have been married for 15 years, I have been to the casino, he has been there, but we have not been there together. Wish us luck! 

Tomorrow is my birthday, I'm not sure what we'll be doing, but I think I'm going to make a big pot of soup because the weather is supposed to be perfect for soup. I've been craving Portuguese Soup a lot lately and I think tomorrow will be a good day for it!
