Bunny Munch: A Yummy Easter Treat!

Easter is just a couple of days away, and my family is looking forward to getting together to celebrate. First, we'll gather to color Easter eggs on Good Friday. It's a family tradition, one that four generations participate in and enjoy. Grands and cousins will all converge and share their best designs on their eggs. While we work, we like to have snacks to munch on. B asked if we could make a special Easter snack to take over for the special event, and we decided on a quick and easy Bunny Munch snack mix. No one's going to be able to resist this yummy mix of treats!

To get started, you just need a few simple ingredients:

4 Cups Rice Cereal
2 Cups Cheerios
2 Cups Pretzels
1 Cup Easter M & M's
1 Bag White Chocolate Chips or White Candy Melts

Your little helpers will love making this fun snack! It's so colorful and yummy!

Combine all ingredients but the chocolate in a large bowl and mix it all up.
Careful not to crush the cereal pieces!

Clean little hands helped to mix it all up.

Melt the white chocolate or white colored candy melts in the microwave. I like to do it for 30-second increments, stirring as I go along, making sure it's all melted and that there are no clumps. I actually used the candy melts, because I have much better success with them than trying to melt actual chocolate in the microwave.

Drizzle the melted white candy or chocolate over the mixture, and gently stir with a spatula. Make sure all of the pieces get coated with the melted chocolate or candy.

Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet (lined with wax or parchment paper). Let the mixture cool and set for 10-15 minutes. Transfer to an air-tight container and store for up to 5 days.

Does this look good enough to eat, or what?

Everyone snitched a few pieces of the Bunny Munch after we made it, and it was super delicious! It's a little bit sweet for my taste, but the kids loved it, and my hubby did, too. I have a feeling that all of the cousins are going to love it when we get together.

If you're looking for a super simple Easter snack to make, this is it! The ingredients are cheap, and the recipe makes a lot! Perfect for parties, gatherings, or to give as gifts!

Hope you'll give this a try. If you do decide to make it, let us know what you thought of it!

Enjoy!
