I love summertime, and usually, it's filled with a lot of fun adventures. This summer has been a lot different from all of the rest. With a 'still new' baby at home, the days are long and the extra help is sparse. It's been so blistering hot outside (near 100 degrees every day!), that we haven't been able to go out for walks or go out to play. We're not used to spending so much time inside, especially this time of the year. 

We're trying to make our own fun and stay cool and comfortable. B is busy reaing, playing with LEGOs, watching the occasional show, or play fighting with his action figures. I am busy managing the house, the chores, and caring for my family while nursing the babe *still* every two hours. I have a power snacker on my hands boob. While we play, we take pictures and hope for the occasional visit of a family member or friend- mommy needs adult conversation to stay sane.

Big brother B isn't much into having mommy take his picture these days. Every now and then he'll pose for one with his sis. We're basically just winding down these last few days until school starts, and trying to continue to survive life as a family of four.
