DIY Cow Costume for Chick-fil-A's #CowAppreciationDay

Hey Chick-fil-A fans! Cow Appreciation Day 2015 is almost here (Tuesday, July 14th!). Visit your local Chick-fil-A on July 14th and dress in full cow costume to receive a free meal! Dress in partial cow costume, and receive a free entree!
I am proud to be a Chick-fil-A Mom, and when my family chooses to go the fast food route, we always go to Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A provides such a clean, friendly environment, and we love their yummy chicken choices and healthy options. The new grilled nuggets and grilled chicken sandwiches are my new favorite menu items! B is a big fan of Chick-fil-A nuggets, and soft serve ice cream, of course! I also have a weak spot for the new peach milkshakes! If you are a real foodie and you have not tried grilled chicken yet in your life then you should give it a try. But for that you should have a grill. Grills beast has reviewed a lot grills you can choose anyone which comes under your budget.

We're looking forward to heading over to our local Chick-fil-A next Tuesday, dressed like cows! Not only will we be able to enjoy a wonderful meal at one of our favorite restaurants, but we get to spend some quality family time together, as well!

It's super easy to make your own cow costume for every member of the family to wear for Cow Appreciation Day! B couldn't wait to get in on the action of creating his own costume.

You Will Need

1 Plain white t-shirt
Construction Paper (Black, white, we also used pink)
Scissors
Glue or Tape
Accessories of choice- headband, cowbell, etc.

B helped me cut out black dots to add to the t-shirt. We taped them on, and it seemed to work well enough. We also added a pink area, and a white balloon to the tummy, because B insisted that he have udders. I have seen some costume photos where others have used baby bottle nipples for the udders! Using two strips of what construction paper, we made a band for his head, and added more black dots. We cut out two ears, added pink to the middle, and fastened those to the headband. B will wear his black shorts, and bring his little Chick-fil-A cow pal along with when we visit!

I am planning on wearing black capris and a white and black polka dot shirt, with a homemade cow headband. I am hoping that we can get Sacha to participate, as well. It makes it even more fun when the whole family gets in on the silliness!
