365 Random Acts of Kindess Weekly Challenge: Week 28

Happy Monday! Today, we're continuing our 365 Acts of Kindness today, encouraging everyone to do one nice thing for someone else every day, for the next year. It doesn't have to be random- you can certainly be kind to someone you know, or a complete stranger. The idea is to pass love around- help someone else out, and inspire them to do the same. Sometimes, we have to change to be the change we want to see in this world.

Every Monday, we're posting a weekly roundup of Acts of Kindness, where you can share how you've helped others, or how others have blessed you by their acts.

Our Acts of Kindness from Last Week...

Last week, I was shopping with my husband and son in our local Target store. A tiny little girl kept following our shopping cart around, and I thought her parents were closeby. Soon, she started crying and walking up and down the aisles, calling for her 'mommy.' So, I asked my husband to stay with her, and I began to walk around the nearby areas in the store, to see if I could find anyone loooking for a little girl. Finally, I found a frantic mom and dad calling out a little girl's name, and I asked if they had lost their little girl. They said yes, and I lead them back to where my husband and son were, entertaining the sweet little girl to keep her from crying. The couple was happy to have been reunited with their daughter, and though they never really thanked us for our help, we didn't care- we were just glad that the little girl didn't get too far away, and that we were able to help bring their family back together. -Ondria

Featured Comment from Last Week's Roundup...

I agree with Marilyn, it's wonderful to hear about the many ways people show kindness towards others. At our local Chick-fil-A it is very common for people to pay for the car behind them. Even though it happens quite often, it is still always an unexpected delight and is easy and fun to do for others too. -Corrine
