Happy Saturday, friends! How many of my fellow Mamas have been counting down the days to this weekend? Even though Mother's Day rarely turns out the way we'd like it to (you know, with quiet kids and someone else taking care of absolutely everything), it's sweet to watch how excited the kids get trying to make the day extra special.
I don't typically ask for anything, but this year I did make a special request to the girls (and Matt) and I am hoping that it works out. I think it's a simple enough request, but I'm worried that the girls will find it problematic.

Yep! The only gift I really want this weekend is Chinese takeout from our favorite place. Actually, my request was specifically that we get it for dinner on Mother's Day and that the girls eat it too. We rarely get Chinese because the girls do not prefer it, so I'm going to play the heck out of the "but it's Mother's Day card". I know they'd like it if they actually tried it! 

Tomorrow, we'll be spending the day with my Mom and Grandma. We'll do lunch and then I'll get to give them their gifts, which I am super excited about. I ordered something special for each of them  from my Avon e-store and it's been hard to hold onto it for this long. Man, I really love giving gifts!
