Recently, we had the opportunity to work with I See Me!, a wonderful company that creates award-winning  personalized children's books as well as other unique personalized children's gifts including placemats, lunch boxes,  puzzles, stickers, and more.

I See Me! recently released a new title, I'm an All-Star, which is a personalized sports book. We got a copy for our oldest, Drew, who does not yet play sports but she has been pretty vocal lately about joining a team! 

I really liked that this book focused on the positive characteristics of an all star, including having a positive attitude, encouraging others on your team, and practicing. Drew enjoyed seeing her name and picture included in the book and loved that some of the sports and activities that she has been really interested in trying are highlighted in the book. We were actually able to select which 5 sports would appear in the book, so we definitely picked the ones we've been hearing about the most lately, including karate and dance.  

I love the idea of personalized story books for children. I am lucky that both of my girls have picked up my love of reading, but not all kids do. When a child is presented with a book where they are the star, it increases their interest in the story and makes story time a treasured time. I would recommend a personalized book (or any gift really) from I See Me! for any child. I think they would make an excellent gift for a baby shower, a birthday, a holiday, or even just because!
