Disney's PLANES is Coming to Theaters this Summer!

High-Flying Animated Comedy Adventure Soars into Theaters August 9, 2013

BURBANK, Calif. (February 28, 2013) – Dane Cook has been tapped to voice the lead character Dusty, a plane with high hopes in “Disney’s Planes.” Inspired by the world of “Cars” and directed by Disneytoon Studios veteran and aviation enthusiast Klay Hall (“King of the Hill,” “The Simpsons”), “Disney’s Planes” is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure about Dusty’s dream of competing as a high-flying air racer—and his decidedly unfortunate fear of heights. The film takes off in theaters in 3D on Aug. 9, 2013.

“Dane Cook brings unmatched charisma and brilliant comedic timing and instincts to the character,” said Hall. “He gives Dusty a great edge.”

Cook is well known for his appearances on Comedy Central and HBO specials, and for his successful comedy albums. He recently guest starred on “Louie” opposite Louie C.K., and his film credits include starring roles in a host of films, including “My Best Friend’s Girl” opposite Kate Hudson, “Dan In Real Life” opposite Steve Carell, and “Mr. Brooks” opposite Kevin Costner. The actor/comedian just signed a deal with NBC Entertainment and Universal Television to develop a new project starring Cook.

The all-new story offers an exciting cast of characters and centers on Dusty’s high-flying dream. But Dusty’s not exactly built for racing, so he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar. The film is produced by Traci Balthazor-Flynn and executive produced by John Lasseter.

HOMERIGHT Steam Machine #Giveaway Event

Mizz Review Lady, J's Reviews & Giveaways, SoCal City Kids, and Making Memories With Your Kids, along with many other awesome bloggers, have all teamed up to bring you this awesome giveaway!

(Guest Review)

I never knew how much my life could benefit from a Steam Machine until I met the Steam Machine Multi Purpose Power Steamer. As a stay at home mother, I can tell you first hand that my carpets are like a canvas, as is my walls. But that's not a problem if you have a Steam Machine!  My floors; unfortunately, are no different! Once again the Steam Machine comes into play!

There's definitely a good reason why they call it a Multi Purpose Steamer and that's because it has so many different functions. From room-to-room the Steam Machine comes in handy!  If you need to remove wallpaper, simply use the Steam Machine to quickly remove it and best yet - it's chemical free!  The kids drag in a little dirt on your carpet? No problem, use the attachment to not only clean, but also sanitize your floors. And that's not the only thing it sanitizes either!  Use it to sanitize your kitchen area including your stove top and oven.  And don't forget about your grills and bathrooms!

One of my favorite things to use the Steam Machine for is my dirty kitchen tiles.  It santizes my floors while cleaning them at the same time.  The steam blasts them clean and then I use the cleaning pad to wipe the surface clean.  It really goes far and beyond a typical mop job!

How does it work?
The Steam Machine works by a pressurized high temperature to efficiently steam away grime and dirt, grease, and even bacteria.

The Steam Machine includes:
Owners Instruction Manual
Two Nylon Brushes
Jet Nozzle
Brass Brush
Floor Steam Mop With Microfiber Cleaning Pad
Wallpaper Steam Plate
Measuring Cup With Fill Funnel
Use the Steam Machine with ease by grabbing the handle and then using the two wheels to roll it around with you wherever you may need it. Take advantage of the 8 foot hose to reach hard to reach places both high and low.  Rest assure that your purchase is totally covered with a two year guarantee.

You can purchase a Steam Machine for $99.99.
Use their product finder to find it in a store near you or find it online.

To learn more be sure to visit HOMERIGHT online.

Thanks to HOMERIGHT, one of our very lucky readers is going to receive their very own Steam Machine!!! This is a $99.99 value!!! Just use the Rafflecopter entry form below to enter for your chance to win!

Good luck!

Bobo and Coco (Easter Review & Giveaway)

MBP's Easter Parade

I mustache you a question.. Do you love peeps?? How about peeps with a mustache??  We do, and if you do too then you're reading the right review.  Bobo and Coco is a one women, custom creation making, shop opened in 2007.  Bobo and Coco are nicknames given to her daughters, who inspire her “happy little clothes”.

Bobo and Coco sent Cameron the most adorable, happy little shirt for Easter.  A peep with a 'stache, I mean really could that be any cuter?

Now based on my mommy-spertise, I would say that the Bobo and Coco shirts run a size or smaller than your average shirt.  We were sent the “2T” which fit Cameron perfectly.  He is currently in an 18-24m so I would say use your best judgment and size up at least one size.

Cameron’s Bobo and Coco Shirt

The Bobo and Coco did not have that thick applique feel that you can get with some of these types of custom shirts.  The applique itself felt soft to the touch on the inside and out.  The shirt was super soft, not a thick shirt and not too thin.  The Bobo and Coco shirt we were sent was a “reglan” style shirt, so it had ¾ length sleeves, but on Cameron’s short arms it was almost a long sleeve.

Mustaches aren’t just for boys, Bobo and Coco makes adorable stach clothes for your little princess too!
(just click on any picture to be taken to the etsy order page for that item)

Here are some other cute Bobo and Coco mustaches for you little man.

Not into mustaches? Check out these adorable Bobo and Coco items.

Want it?? Buy it!!

You can find Bobo and Coco on Etsy or Facebook.  Make sure you give them a “like” on Facebook so you can see sneak peeks of new designs and stay current with any giveaways or sales!!

Want it?? Win it!!!

One lucky reader will win their very own Bobo and Coco Missy/Mister Mustache Easter shirt!!
Just click enter on the Rafflecopter giveaway entry form below to get started! Remember if it's in BOLD, it's mandatory!

Special thanks to Bobo and Coco for allowing us to review one of their adorable shirts, and for offering one as a giveaway, too!

Good luck!

Get Healthy with Good Eats from the Bestowed Box (#Review)

I am realizing more and more that we live in a time where we love the convenience of having useful things delivered right to our door. I have gotten into the habit of loving to explore different monthly subscription boxes, and I've gotten to try a lot of them- and liked most of them. Most of the boxes I have received have been for makeup or food, but for only the second time since I started reviewing these boxes, have I had the opportunity to try a 'good for me' box of goodies.

Meet the Bestowed Monthly Box & subscription service. This monthly care package is sent out to subscribers, containing samples of healthy foods and treats. I received a complimentary Bestowed Box for review, and I couldn't wait to see what would be inside! I wanted to look into Bestowed, because I care about my body. I'm not going to lie, sometimes I completely wreck it (my body, I mean). I eat stuff that I know I shouldn't (I'm talkin' Big Mac's and that sort of thing), and when it's cloudy, I sort of turn into a blob, not wanting to do much more than I have to. I do enjoy eating healthy foods, though. If my husband and I liked to eat the same types of foods, we'd both be in great shape, but he likes most of the things that pack lots of carbs, sugars and unfortunately, extra pounds! Since making two different meals seems silly, we just eat the things he'll say 'yes' to, which results in me feeling guilty later in the evening.

About Bestowed...

Bestowed is the creation of nationally recognized nutritionist and author Heather Bauer and is the answer to all those that have ever stood in the health food section of their local grocery store and said to themselves..."which one of these is really the best??"

Each month, Heather and her team of health and diet experts carefully curate 5 product samples that have caught their attention. Items like nutrition bars, snacks, breakfast cereals, and supplements are just a few of the categories considered.

Here's what the Bestowed Box looks like when it's delivered to you!

I loved the bright orange packaging of the Bestowed Box- it was very cheery! I couldn't wait to see what was in the box, though! I opened it right on up to find lots of little snacks and samples... all things I knew that I would enjoy and mostly things I knew my hubby would tell me to keep to myself.

The contents of my Bestowed Box...

My Bestowed Box contained a package of Low Carb Tortilla Wraps, Peanut Butter Pretzel Nuggets, High Fiber Mini Brownie Bites, Fiber Crackers, and two packs of Nektar Honey Crystals. We had plans to head to Charlotte to attend the circus that same evening, and I knew that we wouldn't get to eat dinner until after the show, so I grabbed the bag of the Peanut Butter Pretzel Nuggets and planned that we'd snack on them in the car. As soon as I shared a few with my husband, he was hooked! Though he should have only had a handful, the bag was gone before we reached out destination. This was a great choice for a healthy snack, though, and it kept our tummies tied over for hours!

Do these not look totally yummy?

The next thing I tried from the Bestowed Box, were the tortilla wraps. We're used to using flour tortilla wraps for tacos, fajitas, and all those yummy Mexican made-at-home dinners. I am even a big fan of ditching the bread and using a tortilla to make a wrap with, instead of eating a heavy sandwich at lunch time. I used one of these on taco night, and stuffed a bunch of black beans into it, and much less ground beef. It was delicious! I felt much lighter and healthier (and happier with myself) after dinner. I've even made up a bit of homemade egg salad and spread it on the tortilla, rolled it up and ate it for lunch with some carrot sticks on the side.

I love tortillas... and this may be my new favorite brand!

I first tried the Hi-Fiber Minis after church one Sunday morning. I got home around 10:30 am and had not yet eaten breakfast. I knew I wouldn't last until lunch, unless I ate something. Reaching for a cookie would have been oh, so easy and tempting, too, but I went for one of these little brownie bites, instead. Now, I'll be honest with you, it doesn;t taste like a gooey, dense chocolate brownie, but it's packed with lots of good stuff and it does have a yummy chocolate taste. I enjoyed it, and wasn't even hungry yet when lunch time rolled around. These are great to have on hand- in the pantry, to toss into your purse of gym bag, etc!

Little mini's, fiber crackers and honey crystals...

I munched on the fiber crackers one afternoon (with a spoonful of the leftover egg salad on top) for a high fiber snack. I usually work out in the late afternoon, and it's good for me to have little snack beforehand. The honey crystals are a great substitute for sugar! I sprinkled some into my coffee, and on my son's rice cereal!

I think the Bestowed Box is a great idea, and would encourage you to check it out and give it a try for a month. The contents of the box change monthly, so you'll always be getting new and exciting sampled and coupons! If you like or want to be better about taking good care of yourself, this is a great place to start. Health food stores can be pretty confusing, and Bestowed Box makes it easy to put good stuff into your body! No scratching your head, reading through labels you can't understand, or standing in a long check-out line!

Want It? Try It!

You can join Bestowed for $19.00/mo or $209.00/year. Once a month, you'll receive a Bestowed Box, delivered right to your door, and the shipping is included in the membership price. Bestowed makes a great gift, too! I think this would be great to send to college students once a month (pizza and beer sort of adds to the waist-line... quickly!). Hey- Bestowed is good for you, so it's right for anyone and everyone! You'll also receive e-mail newsletters and tips from Bestowed Founder, Heather Bauer (I loved her Oscar party tips!).

Be sure to check out Bestowed on Facebook and Twitter!

Special thanks to the team over at Bestowed for allowing me to sample one of their monthly boxes, and help me want to get back to a healthier lifestyle!

Sneakin' in Science Review and Giveaway-February

Having a school age kiddo, we are always looking for fun ways to entertain B and keep him learning when he is at home. He has shown an interest in Science, but I am not always sure how to go about showing him these things. Last summer I purchased an experiment workbook geared for kids, but found that majority of the time, I didn't have one or two things to make the experiments work, frustrating. I also signed B up for a Science workshop camp at the library, while he seemed to enjoy it, he didn't want to share anything he had learned with us once he got home. I finally have an answer to how I can show B and even S how to do some cool Science stuff, thanks to a company who contacted us at MBP and wanted to share their company.
Sneakin' In Science was created by a middle school science teacher and mom, Sara. Sara was looking for a way to continue growing and sharing her popular classroom experiments. She started selling some of them locally, designed a website and tried her hand online. After some initial struggles, Sara decided to market her favorite experiments as a subscription set (1,3,6,12 months) and Sneakin' In Science was born.
The name Sneakin' In Science came about because Sara wanted to show that yes, experiments are fun, but you are also learning by asking questions, seeking answers, and doing more experimenting. All of Sneakin' In Science's experiments are designed for kids ages 5-12, and while some concepts may be more difficult for the younger set, learning is still going on.
Sara was very excited to share her company and experiments with us and we will be bringing you updates in March and April as well (so stay tuned). Sara was great to work with, communicates well, and our February Sneakin' In Science experiments were here quickly.
February is here!
Inside our Sneakin' In Science package were 2 different experiments
The "Film Canister Rocket" and "No Melt Snow"

The first experiment Sara sent us was the "Film Canister Rocket". We were sent all the supplies to correctly complete this experiment on our own, at home. It also included all of the instructions on set up, rules, and how it would work. Check out what we found out!
Our first go at "Film Canister Rocket"

As you can plainly hear "Do it again!" from both kids, which of course we did many more times.
Our third go at "Film Canister Rocket"
The kids really wanted to know what made the rocket go, perfect for explaining how this experiment works. Sneakin' In Science has included tons of helpful information to explain what happened-thank you for that! While S had really no interest in listening (she's 3), B was pretty intrigued on how it worked. He had done something similar with his Grandpa (using Diet Coke and Alkaseltzer) and remembered that the "Film Canister Rocket" was working along the same lines. Another cool thing about the Sneakin' In Science is that it also includes ideas to do other similar reaction-type experiments, which I am sure will be on our list to try soon.
Our second experiment was "No Melt Snow", again with all the supplies and instructions to make it go smoothly for us. Here is what we discovered!
The kids absolutely LOVED this experiment and were amazed that we made snow inside the house. With another pretty mild winter, snow was at a minimum, but this gave them the chance to play in it a bit more and we can get this one out again and again. I know when it is in the heat of summer, this one will again be a huge hit.
Sneakin' In Science has been awesome for us. I have never been fantastic at Science, but the experiments are easily explained, all supplies are included, and all the questions can be answered thanks to the thorough information that is included. Both of the kids are learning and having fun while doing, thanks so much Sneakin' In Science!
