Rockin' Green Review and Giveaway

I don't mind doing cloth diaper laundry. To me, it's not really a huge deal. Just toss all of the wet stuff into a pail or wet bag, and when you're ready to wash, wash the cloths all together, and there you have it... clean cloth, ready to hug your baby's bum. What I do mind is when the smearies and the stinkies don't come out of the cloth! Sometimes, no matter how long or how many times you've soaked something, the stains just don't want to come out, and over time, cloth can become stinky-smelling, even when it's clean! Also, if you have a hubby like mine, they don't always check for stains before they throw something into the dryer. So, what's a momma to do on laundry day when she's got a pail full of stained cloth? Get rockin', momma... with Rockin' Green Cloth Diaper Detergent!

Finally... a soap specially formulated for cleaning cloth diapers! Rockin' Green totally rocks my laundry room! Rockin' Green is made of phosphate free ingredients, which means it's safe for the planet and safe for your little ones! I love knowing that the cleaning products I'm using at home are safe for Balian to be around, and now that I'm trying to be a little more green, I love that it's safe for the earth, too!

Three Different Formulas...
Rockin' Green has three different detergent formulas to choose from. Why three? Glad you asked! Rockin' Green was designed for different water types, which depends on where you live. It's important to choose the formula that corresponds with your water hardness #. If you don't know it, you can have your water professionally tested... it's usually free. You can also use this handy chart...

Rockin' Scents...
Rockin' Green comes in seven awesome scents! Their names are pretty cool, too. I was sent Rage Against the Raspberry, and I love it! I can't decide which sent to try next! Don't worry- the scents are safe for the diapers. They make your laundry room or closet smell amazing, and the scents (which are natural, by the way) just simply wash away, so you smell a deliciously clean scent on your cloth... not funky stuff!

Cleaning Instructions...
1. Savor the scent of your detergent!
2. Dump diapers/clothes into the washer and do a cold rinse to get the yucky stuff out prior to the actual wash cycle. The more water, the better.
3. Add the Rockin' detergent, and do a regular wash cycle. Use 2-3 Tbsp. per load.
4. Double rinse.

Now, I thought that this was going to be pain-staking and involved, but it's not. Trust me, I don't have time to spend an entire day messing with laundry, so if it wasn't a quick and easy deal, I wouldn't do it and definitely wouldn't be telling you about it. My experience with Rockin' Green has been great! It's a safe detergent that does what it says- it smells awesome and really gets the cloth diapers truly clean. I can't tell you how many times I've had to re-wash loads of diapers with other detergents, and there's one whose name I won't mention that I won't even use to wash my cloths with, because it does such a poor job! I don't think I could ever go back to using regular detergent for the cloth diapers. I love the way it smells, and I love that the diapers come out absolutely clean after one load washed. Plus, you can use Rockin' Green on way more than just cloth diapers! Check out these great other uses! I can't wait to try washing yucky food-stained bibs with RNG. All in all, I love this product! I hope you'll give it a try!

We have a winner for the Itzbeen Baby Care Timer!

I LOVE This. I read about it when my daughter was born, but wound up getting just a nursing app on my phone because it was cheaper. This would be great for our next baby and for the tailend of this one! Especially for the breastfeeding aspect.

Mother-ease Review

I'm only slightly experienced when it comes to cloth diapering, so the easier the system is to manage, the better. Right now, I'm a stay at home mom, so there is no reason for me not to be using cloth diapers. I was recently given the opportunity to try a cloth diaper system from Mother-ease Cloth Diapers. I was so excited when the system arrived, and couldn't wait to get it washed, dried and onto my little man's bum!

I was sent the One Size Cloth Diaper System for my review, and boy, do I love it! This diaper is made out of a lightly brushed terry, and grows with your baby! That's right... there are strategically placed snaps that are designed so that the diaper can allow more room for baby as he or she grows. This means that you can use these diapers with newborns up to potty training age (35 pounds)! Wow!

So- how does it work? The One Size system from Mother-ease Cloth Diapers is a two step system. The actual diaper contains a cloth insert, which just snaps in for easy and precise placement (gotta love this- you can't screw it up!) After placing the cloth diaper on your baby, you then use a separate cover, which comfortably sits over the diaper and snaps in place. The diaper covers are available in sizes based on baby's weight. The great thing about the covers is that you can really use them three or four times before they need to be washed, because they don't get wet, even when baby has a wet diaper. That's how absorbent these cloth diapers are! These diapers are leak-free, and I can honestly say that we've never had any accidents using Mother-ease Cloth Diapers.

There are four different fabrics to choose from when selecting your One Size Cloth Diaper System.
Choose from comfy Stay Dry Stretchy Cotton, which has a specially knit stay dry fabric sewn to the inside. This helps to prevent diaper rash, and easily rinses after diaper changes. The Organic Cotton Terry diaper is a popular choice, as it's made from 100% organic cotton. The Bamboo Terry diaper is a bamboo and cotton blend, with the cotton fabric touching your baby. The Cotton Terry diaper is also a popular choice for it's durability and comfort (this is what we got for Balian), and it's also available in a rainbow of colors!

Air Flow Covers...
The One Size System works with adorable air flow covers. This is a snap on, leak-free cover that remains breathable while on your baby! It fits securely where you need it to, and allows plenty of room in the legs for baby's comfort. These covers allow for maximum circulation while baby boys, which is great, because that reduces the risk of bacteria by keeping the actual diaper temperature down! I love that the covers snap on, because that means that Balian can yank these off. We've tried other cloth systems which stay in place (yeah right) with velcro. Well, guess what? Little hands can undo velcro quite easily! These covers are really wonderful, and I've been amazed that they really do stay dry and help to prevent leaks. These are a mom's best friend, trust me! I received the cover pictured above, and we just adore it! There are many prints and colors to choose from, as far as the covers go. Buy just a few, and you'll be set!

Why I love Mother-ease Cloth Diapers
This is a wonderful system for first time cloth diapering parents. You can't mess this system up- you just snap and go! Washing is easy... just dispose of solids in the potty, and then (if you like), soak the poopy liner in a safe stain fighting solution, then wash with your other cloth diapers. I do put the actual diapers in the dryer, but I don't put the air flow covers in the dryer... I let those air dry. If there's no poopy, there's no need to soak anything, unless you just feel that you want to. Mother-ease won the PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved) Award in 2009 as best cloth diaper, and I can see why! If you're curious about cloth diapering, or if you're a seasoned cloth momma and have never heard of Mother-ease, I urge you to give their diaper systems a try. They also have other diaper systems to choose from that are just as impressive as the One Size System! Mother-ease absolutely goes on my Mommy's Must Haves list, and gets my Mommy Stamp of Approval!

Like It BUY IT!
Mother-ease has an incredible Introductory Offer on their website that I urge you to check out! You can try their system for 30% off the retail price, and this offer is available on all of their systems! How great is that? They also have a very user-friendly online shopping cart, which makes ordering your very first Mother-ease Cloth Diaper System a snap!

Green Field Paper Company Review and Giveaway

I am a journal junkie! I love having journals or a note pad to write everything down on since I am a list freak. There are lists all over my home and I'm always afraid that I am going to loose them. That's why I was so happy when I received the Hemp Heritage Eco-Chic Journal Book in Fandango from Green Field Paper Company.

So Cute!

The Fandango journal is made from 100% machine made hemp paper. Don't get any funny ideas people, you can't smoke it! Green Field Paper Company prides itself on being 100% tree free! This means they make their own paper and also make Grow a Note paper, which is seed embedded paper you can plant! How cool is that?! Not only do they make their own hemp paper and embedded seed paper, they make 100% junk mail paper, made from junk mail they are sent daily, Gilroy garlic paper infused with garlic skins, and java paper made from coffee chaff. Green Field Paper Company is committed to being Eco friendly and doing their part to help our environment

Here's what they sent me

The Fandango journal, Grow a note postcard, and a Note from the company

I love the Fandango journal, and was very pleased when it came. The colors are energetic and I love the design on the cover. The pages are just the right size to write a note, or a grocery list. I love the tan color of the pages, not your normal white color, it's very Eco-chic! And the beautiful colors of the humming bird and flower popped right off of the Grow a note postcard. I sent it to my sister who loves to garden, with a note and some coupons I found for her! I know she's gonna love it just as much as I do!

                                                              Grow A Note Postcard

Getting My Grocery List Together

I am loving the Fandango journal to write out my grocery list! It is the perfect size to grab write a list and toss it in my purse. It's very compact and convenient to grab on a whim or to throw in my car for a meeting. I wish I had it when we were buying our house so I could write notes in, instead of my old bulky note pad. Plus every time I use it, I will feel good knowing I am helping, just a tiny bit to preserve our planet!

Fits Right in My Purse

Green Field Paper Company  doesn't just sell postcards and journals, they also have invitations, cards, stationary and envelopes, specialty paper, business cards, handmade note sets, sketch pads and so much more. I wish i would have known about Green Field Paper Company three years ago when I got married. We had a sunflower theme and it was so hard to find sunflower wedding invitations, we settled on something modern but if I had known about Green Field,  I would have bought the beautiful sunflower invitations from them. You can choose what type of paper you want, and having the option to Grow a Note would have been amazing. We looked into blooming flower pots to send with our invitations, but when all was said and done it was going to cost over $1000. Over at Green Field Paper Company you can get Grow a Note invitations at great prices, plus anything else your heart desires. This company is AWESOME!

Gorgeous Sunflower Invitations

I am beyond thrilled with Green Field Paper Company and I recommend this company to everyone who wants good quality products that are Eco friendly, stylish and affordable.

Happy Fluff Week!

It's FLUFF WEEK here on The Mommy Blog! I'm so excited to share a little about cloth diapering with you. I'll be providing you with some important information today, and I'll be sharing great reviews, personal experience and some giveaways with you this week. Let's change the way moms think about cloth diapering, together!
Why I'm a Cloth Momma...
'You can do it. I used cloth diapers with you when you were a baby. I had no choice. We couldn't afford disposables,' my mom said to me as I contemplated cloth diapering versus disposables. Disposable diapers truly are expensive, and other than convenience, what do we gain by using them?

The Environment...
We gain an average of 5,300 diapers per baby from birth to potty training age sitting in a landfill, unable to break down- just sitting there, literally becoming mummified and exposing the public to human waste. Gross, and irresponsible, if you ask me. Disposable diapers are the third largest product of waste behind newspapers and beverage containers. Every year, 20,000,000,000 disposable diapers are thrown away in the US and Canada.

Health...
Did you know that in order for cloth diapers to be made, the pulp is treated with chemicals? Yeah, that's right... chemicals are rubbing up against your baby all day long when using a disposable diaper. Sodium polyacrylate is in the fluff layer of baby's diaper, and it's something that you really don't want in there- it's what turns baby's urine into a gel, which makes for a very absorbent diaper, but it's also what's been linked to toxic shock syndrome in tampons. It's also been known to cause diaper rash, and bleeding. The use of cloth diapers is a safe form of diapering for babies... no chemicals, no plastic. Yes, please. Help spread the word about cloth diapering! Did you know that because of the high cost of disposables and the strain on the economy that many families are re-using disposable diapers? It's sad and very true. Disposables are designed for single use, and instead of being changed every 2 hours or so, babies are being left in the very same wet diaper all day long, because they can hold up to 100 times their original weight. This makes me so sad, which is really why I am wanting to help spread the word about cloth diapering and the many options that surround the topic. It's so different than it was years ago. Every mom with a baby in diapers needs to know about cloth diapering options!

Savings...
Savings will vary from using cloth versus disposables, but trust me, you'll save over $1,000.00 a year just by switching to cloth. The initial cost of cloth diapers can be expensive, but I encourage you to research different systems, find one that works for you, and then stick with it. Yes, it's going to be more laundry, but to me, it's worth it to do a load of fluff every day rather than spend $20.00 a week or more on disposable diapers. Average about 40 hours of laundry over 2 1/2 years. And think about this... are disposables really more convenient when you're having to run out to get more in the middle of the night, or on your way home from work? With a supply of cloth diapers at home, they'll always just be a few steps away.

I wish that I had started using cloth right from the very start. The new cloth diapering systems that are available today are so different than the pre-folded, pinned and plastic pant covered diapers I wore as a baby. There are a multitude of sizes, colors, inserts, covers and styles available at a variety of retail and online stores. I hope that you'll join me this week as we explore cloth diapering options and accessories together. And just one more thing... if I can cloth diaper a baby, so can you! It's so much easier than it looks, and once you've switched to cloth, you'll never want to go back to plastic!

I'd love to hear your comments about cloth diapering. Please use the comment form to share stories, experiences- good or bad, advice, and opinions. Let's make a difference together by taking a very simple step together!

A Work in Progress

Happy Saturday everyone! I had a great time with my Mother in Law and now it's back to the daily grind. We have had so much going on lately I thought I would tell you about some of the work we've done.

All week long we kept talking about what projects to get done and decided to paint the wall with our fireplace that continues into the dinning room. We had gotten a free pint of red paint, and put a small sample of it up on the wall. It was horrible, more like clown red than dark red like the color said.

Before

Please excuse the mess, we're still working on things!

So, we had to go to the hardware store and buy paint. We chose posh red, and it turned out a little darker than I thought, but I like it. We kept the other walls the same latte color and we'll probably paint them later, but I'm not looking forward to it. We have 10 ft ceilings and it is vaulted so it will be harder to paint, and I don't do ladders. Heights are not my friend!

After
Still working on getting things in place!

We were going to try and fix the garbage disposal and the sink, but that's for another weekend. Our disposal doesn't work and when we run the dishwasher, it backs up into the sink. It's pretty gross!

Neither Cory or I are very handy, so I think I will save this one for the plumber! We also have a counter top resurfacing project going on, but you'll find more out about that in a few days : ) We are still working on things in the house and it's going to take a a long time, but bit by bit it will get done!

Have a good weekend every "Buddy!"

Baby Safe Feeder Review and Giveaway

When Balian started grabbing for our plates at the dinner table, we took that as a sign that he might be ready for solid foods. We started off with baby cereal- moving from rice to oatmeal and then to multi-grain. We introduced baby purees, and have gradually moved to thicker mixtures of sweet potatoes, bananas, mangos, carrots, etc. Buying baby food can get expensive, though... and when babies are teething, sometimes meal times can be pretty difficult, because all they want to do is chomp on the spoon you're using to feed them. As I have found, teething cookies can be dangerous- you always run the risk of your baby choking on them, along with any grown up food you might give to them to try out. What if there was a safe way to feed your baby fresh fruits and veggies without having to worry about them choking on pieces that break off?

I am happy to introduce you to the original Baby Safe Feeder. It's the safe way to introduce your baby to fresh fruits and veggies. The Baby Safe Feeder was invented, patented and marketed by a dad who almost lost his baby due to choking on a teething cookie. This is the perfect way to introduce the foods of your choice with no added salt, sugar, spices or preservatives. The Baby Safe Feeder is made out of FDA approved material, and is made in the USA.

2 + 2 Starter Kit

The Baby Safe Feeder is so easy to use! Just drop the mesh bag in to the ring, place a wedge of fruit or veggie in the bag, screw the holder on, and give it to your baby!

I was given the opportunity to try this feeder with Balian, and I couldn't wait! We received the 2 + 2 Starter Kit the day before we left for vacation, so it went to the beach with us. Balian loves fruit of every kind, so I started with bananas. I bought a bunch of them, sliced them up, and froze them. I dropped the frozen pieces into the mesh bag, placed the holder on, screwed it and then handed it to Balian. At first, he didn't know what to do with it, and it was funny just to watch him. I let him explore with it before holding it up to my own mouth and pretending to bite it. He finally figured it out, and started gumming at it, and eating the bananas! I was so excited to see that the feeder actually worked, and that Balian responded well to it.

B's first experience with the Baby Safe Feeder

What else can you put into the feeder? Just about anything! Place an apple wedge in the mesh bag, and your baby will be able to make their own fresh applesauce! Try grapes, oranges, carrots, peaches, watermelon, etc. I'd stay away from berries with younger babies... just because of the seeds and potential allergy risks. You can even simply fill the mesh bag with ice and use the Baby Safe Feeder as a teether! This has been wonderful for us, since Balian is chomping at everything he can get into his mouth! It can be a little messy, so I suggest that you use this with baby in their high chair... and I shouldn't have to say this, but I will- never leave a baby unattended while eating or drinking.

Cleaning...
The Baby Safe Feeder is really easy to clean. All of the parts are dishwasher safe, so I just put it in the basket that holds bottle nipples, spoons and pacifiers, and let the dishwasher do its magic. Comes out clean every time. I was warned, though, that if you use bananas in the feeder, it can be challenging to get the mesh bag clean, and yes- that it true. I don't even try the messy mesh bag in the dishwasher after we've had bananas, because I know I'll just have to clean it again. The first time I tried to clean it, I just let it soak in the sink, which didn't do much good. Honestly, you just have to use some soap and rub the banana gunk out with your fingers. Turning the bag inside out seems to work them best. It does come clean- you just have to work at it a little harder with the bananas. Hey- if it keeps my little guy happy, it's worth it to me! If the food gets really stuck on, you can use a little white vinegar or baking soda paste to clean it with. When the bags show the first sign of wear, toss it and replace it with replacement bags. This feeder is not a toy, so when your baby is done with it, take it away and clean it immediately.

Mmm... Bananas!

All in all, I am so happy that we now have the Baby Safe Feeder to use! It's a huge help to me, and Balian has really enjoyed it. This too cool mommy tool is going on my Mommy Must Haves list, and absolutely gets my Mommy Stamp of Approval!

Beautanical Giveaways End Tonight

Hi all! Don't forget that the Beautanical Giveaway ends tonight at midnight! Enter for your chance to win a set of soaps and a package of bath salts!

Scentsy with Nicole K. Review and Giveaway

I love yummy smelling things, and living with a little stinker sure increases the need for yummy smelling things around my house. When Nikki K, a consultant with Scentsy offered for me to review some scented products from Scentsy, I jumped at the chance!

I first learned about Scentsy about a year ago. I know- I am so behind on the times, here. Scentsy has many scented products to choose from, including warmers that plug in and safely melt wax bricks. There are so many to choose from- one to suit any style! Along with the warmers, there are tons of scented waxes to choose from! If you like fruity scents, they've got you covered, and floral scents, too... and everything in between!

Pictured here- Hampton Full Size Warmer $30.00

Nikki was kind enough to send me some really nice products to review for all of you! She sent me the Cucumber Lime Foaming Hand Sanitizer, a Sweet Pea and Vanilla Scent Circle, and a Sweet Pea and Vanilla Room Spray. I am getting a lot of use out of these items already.

I'm loving the Fragrance Foam. I've been carrying it around with me in my purse. Mommies aren't always near a sink when they have to change a yucky diaper... I've had several instances where I've had to change Balian in the back seat (while parked, of course!) and couldn't wash my hands. The Fragrance Foam sanitizes, and offers a lovely scent that stays with you for hours! These foams are only $6.00 and there are ten fresh scents to choose from! I recommend having a hand sanitizer with you at all times! I keep one in my purse, diaper bag and stroller bag- because you just never know when you're going to need it. If you're running low on sanitizers, try one of these!

I was also sent a Scent Circle. These are so neat, and I really need to stock up on them. You can hang these scented circles just about anywhere- in a closet, your car, a locker, put one in your dresser drawer, the bottom of a trash can, etc. I put hung the Sweet Pea and Vanilla Scent Circle that Nikki sent to me near the diaper pail. As soon as I opened the package, I was hit with the comforting scent from the circle. I was pleasantly surprised that every time I walked into the room, I no longer smelled stinky diaper pail smell, I was greeted by Sweet Pea and Vanilla! I hung the circle about two weeks ago, and the scent is still going strong! I love these Scent Circles, and will surely be buying some of these to use around my home. These are available in all Scentsy Fragrances!

And lastly, but certainly not least, I tried a Scentsy Room Spray. Now, I'll be honest here- I gave up on room sprays a long time ago. My husband and I both have very sensitive noses... and so does Balian, for that matter, so room sprays seemed to be a clear no no, because they were all so overpowering. The Scentsy Room Spray has forever changed my life! These sprays aren't overpowering at all. Just a little spritz is the perfect amount to simply freshen a stale-smelling room. They are even gentle enough for me to feel good about spritzing them in Balian's nursery. There are a variety of scents to choose from with these, as they are available in all Scentsy Fragrances. They're just $8.00 a bottle, which I think is a great price! If you need a new room freshener, skip the sprays from the grocery store... try one of these!

Of course, Scentsy has so many other products, which I want to try... so you know this means that I'm going to be having a Scentsy party with Nikki sometime soon! You can book a party with Nikki, too! Scentsy hostesses earn fabulous rewards. Scentsy also offers fundraisers for your organization. Looking for some extra income? Scentsy just might be for you! Contact Nikki for more information about joining her Scentsy Team!

All in all, I love Scentsy, and their scents make my Mommy Must Haves list, and definitely gets my Mommy Stamp of Approval! Scentsy- Makes Perfect Scents and Sense!

The Chequered Lily Review and Giveaway

I don't know about you ladies, but I love mineral make up. What's not to love about putting something that's all natural on your face- not to cover anything up, but to enhance your already beautiful features? I've been using mineral make up (foundation and blush) for a few years now, but until recently I'd never used a mineral eye shadow. I love eye shadow, and don't usually go a day without it. I'm sort of a neutral, earth-tones kind of gal, and sort of like to play it safe when it comes to the eyes. I do, however, like to add a pop of color every once in a while just for something different. I wanted to try something new, but didn't really no where to look other than spending a fortune on a name brand make up that I might not even like once I'd tried it on.

Enter The Chequered Lily. Seriously, I love Etsy! What can't you find on there!? When I came across The Chequered Lily, I was thrilled to see so many different shades of mineral eye shadows. Kim, owner of this lovely Etsy shop makes all of these shadows herself! These are natural eye shadows, and some of them are even vegan shadows. Something for everyone... I love that!

I wanted to review some eye shadows from The Chequered Lily, so Kim allowed me to choose seven colors to sample, and she chose an extra one for me! Please note that I did pay a very small fee for receiving these samples.. I mean, really tiny. The samples came to me in nicely sized sample bags...

My set of samples from The Chequered Lily

As you can see, I chose mostly neutrals, and some purple shades, because that's about the only color I play around with every now and then. I am in love with these eye shadows. I have been using them sparingly every day since they arrived in my mailbox. Really- a little is all you need on your applicator brush, because these shadows go a long way. Each of them has that perfect hint of shimmery glitter, which I think is absolutely perfect for summer and winter months. Really, you could use shimmery stuff anytime- just depends on what you like. My favorite shadow of all the ones I received is Neverwhere... it's the one I keep going back to day after day. I also chose: Silk, Snow Glass Apples, Milky Way, Naive, Pulsar, Delicate, and Kim chose Terra for me to try (so glad she did, because I love that one, too!). These shadows give me as much or as little coverage as I want, and the lighter colors are perfect to use as highlighters along your brow line. Layer the colors for a stunning bold look, or use alone for a simple look... you'll look gorgeous either way!

And let me not leave this out... it wears extremely well! I put my shadow on with no primer underneath in the morning and it still looks just as good when I'm ready to remove it before bed time! Never before have I owned an eye shadow that I didn't have to re-apply at least once a day!

If you are in the market for some new eye shadows, please visit The Chequered Lily and try some of Kim's shadows! There are so many colors to choose from- literally every color of the rainbow, since there are 52 shadows currently listed for sale! Best of all, they are inexpensive! For 1 gram packaged in a 5 gram pot, it's just $5.00! Unbelievable! I encourage you to jump on over to Etsy and visit Kim's shop at The Chequered Lily. Browse her beautiful gallery of eye shadows- trust me, you won't be sorry! These shadows would make great gifts, too! Kim's eye shadows definitely go on my Mommy Must Haves list and totally get my Mommy Stamp of Approval, because what mom doesn't want to look good even when she's missing an earring and has spit-up running down her back?

Tid-bit Tuesdays

My bird feeder broke yesterday... and I'm sad about that because my sister bought it for me as a birthday present a few years ago.

The exterminators are coming to our house today because we have a winged ant situation going on... always something.

I hate waking up to a sink full of dirty dishes.

It would make my life easier if I just set up the coffee before going to bed- but I never do.

If it weren't so hot outside, I'd probably spend all day out there with Balian.

I would love to be able to spend an hour cleaning and straightening up the house every day.

I miss cooking and baking like I used to do- even though I'm not a very good baker.

If I had tons of money, a lot of it would get spent on plants!

I have the best husband and the sweetest little baby boy in the world...
...I am so blessed!

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house... they are ever praising You.

Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone!

Vitamins Baby Review and Giveaway

I love seeing the look on B's face when we get to hand him a new toy or snuggle friend, so when I was offered the opportunity to review a sweet little Blankie Buddy from Vitamins Baby, I jumped at the chance.

Vitamins Baby has been clothing America's babies for over forty-five years. Their mission is to provide extremely well designed, high quality baby clothes and accessories for the little ones in this world. Vitamins Baby carries sizes from preemie to toddler, and they carry everything from clothing and socks to books and accessories. Their collections are absolutely adorable! I would be happy to cloth Balian in nothing but cute outfits from Vitamins Baby!

Isn't this baby girl set just precious!?

One of the newest additions to the Vitamins Baby family is a sweet little friend! The Vitamins Baby Blankie Buddies come in a set of two, and there are several to choose from: Buddy Bear Ballerinas, Buddy Bear Balloons, Buddy Cats, Buddy Cows, Buddy Cowboys and Buddy Monkeys! Olga at Vitamins Baby was kind enough to send us one of the Buddy Bear Balloon Blankie Buddies.

Vitamins Baby Blankie Buddy Bear Balloons

I wish I could have captured Balian's face when I handed him his new buddy. He has the best excited face, ever! As soon as he saw his new friend, he squealed, waved his hands around and dove right for the sweet little bear. He loves his new buddy! They nap together and play together, and he even comes on walks with us. Balian's new Blankie Buddy is quickly becoming his best pal (aside from mommy, of course!). Every baby needs a sweet little friend to snuggle with. We are so pleased with Balian's new little friend!
